JJ’s Scratch Cocina on Curry Ford Road is an amazing place with clean food and healthy drinks that come out piping hot (or ice cold, depending on context) and so fresh and beautifully plated. I loved the kind, friendly service and my erepas with pulled chicken were melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Sor and Alex were both the sweetest and most helpful, genuinely caring servers and made mybexperience extra special. The drinks are Claridad (carrot, pineapple, turmeric) and both iced and hot matcha with coconut water — a very unique, tropical take on matcha tea. I love it. Everything was perfect in a peaceful, pretty setting. I will be back!

What are the best hidden gems in your North Orlando area? If you want that Mediterranean and South American fusion this is definitely the place to visit. Everything was absolutely off the wall amazing. The food couldn’t be fresher, more healthier tasting, and the service impeccable from the outside. It looks like a little hole in the wall, but they got a big heart on the inside definitely stop here. like Machu Picchu it might be a little out of your way but it’s well worth the visit.

The experience feels inconsistent. The modern decor and classical piano music clash with the Latin flavors and the fast-casual look of the open kitchen. Most disappointing was the wine, which was served from a previously opened bottle and was undrinkable.

The food was an amazing blend of Mediterranean and Latin cooking. Service was so helpful. Very tasty, fresh, and clean ingredients. Restaurant has a quick service half and a sit down half. We were in the sit down. Great prices for the food and value. Will be back!!

The food itself was very good — no complaints there — but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing, especially for a Valentine’s Day dinner.
The Valentine’s menu had no prices listed at all, so we were completely shocked when the bill came to $377. If it’s going to be a fixed-price or premium holiday menu, that really should be clearly communicated upfront so guests can make an informed decision.
On top of that, we were seated at a table facing the kitchen/cooks, which felt awkward and not very romantic for a special occasion. It would have been much nicer to be seated facing each other rather than the work area.
Good food, but the lack of transparency on pricing and the atmosphere took away from what should have been a special night.

One word: YUM. The chicken was marinated for 72 hours and it showed. The steak was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The vegetables were bright and well but not over seasoned. Food here is treated with love.

This restaurant is so beautiful, the quality of the food is excellent, tastes very fresh and homemade, but also gourmet. They only use avocado oil and olive oil, and do not use seed oils! Customer service was superb.

My mouth waters just thinking about some of the delicious items on the menu. My favorite was the tostones as they created a party for my tastebuds.
