Redmond Brickhouse is not Bend Brickhouse. We have dined at this restaurant twice hoping to enjoy a nice upscale meal. We have had amazing dinners at the Bend location. Unfortunately this restaurant has a significantly lower standard for food quality and preparation by comparison. The one difference is the drinks, which are stronger but less balanced and nuanced. Basically ordering shots with mixer. This was definitely forshadowing what was coming. We ordered a ceaser salad to share. It was bland and uninspired. Greens were fresh and crisp and the dressing was creamy, but lacked any depth of flavor. No notes of anchovy, mustard, acid or seasoning. Unsure if this dressing is made in house but it misses the mark for a classic ceasar. We ordered the scallops with citrus “burre blanc” It is clear there is a fundamental misunderstanding of what burre blanc sauce is or a clear miss on execution as our dish had no such sauce. (See scallop photo). Next up was the seared ahi tuna with ginger rice and chile sauce “special”. This dish was so bland it was inedible and I had to send it back. The fish was pungeant and past a saleable condition for seared half raw. The ginger rice was simply white rice, without ginger, and the mystery green blob was so bland and flavorless that it stumped my usually articulate palette. I hate sending food back, but did and ordered a Mid-Rare New York. I received a heavily charred revenge steak that was chewy and disappointing. Our server was gracious and helpful through this experience. We understand its not her fault and tipped accordingly. Just a shame that theres no great fine dining in Redmond. Next time we’ll make the drive to Bend.

The food was absolutely delicious—everything was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and clearly made with care. Service was spot-on: attentive, friendly, and never overbearing. You can tell this place takes pride in both their kitchen and their staff. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend.

We went for our 7 year anniversary and they were so nice! Normally my husband and I drive to Bend if we want a fancy atmosphere with good food because we live in Prineville but wow this did not disappoint! And I’m glad we have a closer place to go now! I got the 6oz filet mignon was great! Beef skewer app was amazing too! Clam chowder great!!
Lava cake desert, great! Lava cake is way more on the lava side than the cake side not as cakey Chart house. More like little cake on the top but mostly lava, still good!!

Way better than the Bend location! All of the servers are knowledgeable about the menu and good at pairing wines. Food is cooked to perfection every time (we go here at least 2 times a month). While the Bend location has outdoor seating, that is only useful during the summer months. It can be a bit loud at the Redmond one, but you can still have a conversation.

Love this spot! The lighting, the art, the…bricks… it’s got soul for sure. The drinks are well made and I’ve never had a better Bee’s Knees. The bartenders know what they’re doing. Wine list is solid too, with some thoughtful Northwest picks.
Service was attentive without being fake. It got a little loud as the night went on, but not unbearable.
It’s definitely not cheap, but the quality for once matches the ol’ price tag. It’s the perfect spot for a more upscale night or celebration. In a town with fewer options, this is one of the best.
They were out of the Hawaiian dish so I had my first taste of swordfish. Incredible!

Somethings needing looked at, entry to the restaurant is tight, needs a bit more, first impressions are everything, lighting of the room is relaxing and bulb lite, seating is good for a great view and comfortable, server arrived quickly and took time to hold a conversation worth having, menus were a bit much, electronic and hardback, but offered great selection for starters and cocktails, food selection was right down the middle no surprises no confused offering, this is where the Breakhouse separated itself, prime cut meats, selection on the cut you choose, chicken and fish was of amazing quality, the food was explained and discussed with the waiter, we were provided a wonderful understanding of what we were getting, once food arrived i was happy with all preparation and quality, after the meal was complete the service good service continued, food was packed and sweets offered, very happy with Jason our service was great, i will discuss this place with friends, family for a good time ahead. Must have experience.

Great steaks and seafood! We went there to celebrate my friends birthday. Everything we had was excellent! We shared the brie and roasted garlic appetizer. I had the Fillet Oscar, and my friends had the 16 oz ribeye and the salmon. We also had cheesecake for dessert.

Excellent scallops in Buerre Blanc! Make a reservation, but leave time for parking as you may circle several times looking.

I went here on a busy Friday night and I was still able to get a seat. This was my first time so I wasn’t sure how busy it would be but the food was good, the drinks were perfect, and the service was phenomenal.

Went there for our anniversary and I can’t wait to go back. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the service was top notch (Amanda did an amazing job), and the filet mignon and seared scallops were perfection on a plate.
