The owner Mo was really nice. Hard to understand over the phone but he was very friendly and the food was good! I will say if you go order the authentic food not the American options. Only down fall from our order was we asked for a plain cheese steak just meat and cheese and picked up one that had ketchup, onions, and peppers. My lamb shawarma was good and the hummus too.

Got the lamb dinner. Portions were big yet the slices of lamb are thin. Rice was perfect. Guy behind the counter was cool, just the language barrier was tough. He even ran out to my van to deliver the taziki sauce he initially forgot. Highly recommend this place regardless! Definitely getting the dinner again.

Mediocre at best… The lamb gyros was the exact same strips you get in the gyro kit from Aldi or Walmart. NOT fresh made. We didn’t care for the yellow rice, the falafel was just okay. For those prices we won’t return. The guy behind the counter was cool and it looked clean.

Portions were generous, but the lamb slices were very thin. but overall the flavors didn’t stand out as expected, especially given the unique menu. Communication was also a bit challenging due to the language barrier. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet expectations. 1/5*

My husband and I decided to try it after hearing several great reviews. I must say, it was great. The server was awesome. Her name was Shae. We got seated quickly and she came right over to take our drink order. She asked if we had any questions about the menu. My husband ordered unsweetened tea and she said she made it fresh every morning. It was great. I don’t drink anything with caffeine after 3:00 so she recommended their fresh made hibiscus tea. I tried it and it was really good and sweetened just slightly.

We both ordered the Chicken Kabob dinner. It came with taziki and rice and zucchini. The spice was delicious and the chicken was juicy and tender. We both highly recommend it. It also came with a fresh pita bread cut in 4 pieces.

We will definitely be back!!

This Mediterranean restaurant stands out as one of the finest we’ve experienced. From the freshness of every dish to the delightful homemade baklava and hummus, the menu offers unique items rarely found elsewhere. The portions were very generous and we found this place to be a great value. We shared the mix grill and sampler appetizer and baklava. We were so full we had to take the rest home. The exceptionally friendly and accommodating hostess adds to the overall positive experience. We’re eager to return with friends and family to share this remarkable discovery. Thank you!

The second I walked in, I realized they had remodeled the whole place for the better, but that is fine. The place looked brighter and nicer. The waiter told me that there were new owners, that the other owner (nice man, we’ve spoken in the past) went back to Egypt. I’m not sure if the new men were his sons or just bought the place from him. Anyway, the first thing out of the waiter’s mouth was that he asked my date if her car was for sale (? ) It wasn’t). He took our order, but items that were visually on the picture menu in the window were not on the menu given to us (stuffed grape leaves. Who doesn’t carry that?). We asked for water to drink, and you didn’t get free tap water, you had to buy the bottled water. The waiter didn’t get it for us, he just pointed to the refrigerator. My date went up to get it and the waiter followed her to the cooler and asked for her phone number!?!?!?!?!? While waiting for our meal, the waiter brought us a hummus platter. We did not order it and at first we thought it was complimentary, since he did not know us and it was a “new owners” restaurant. The main meal was fine, no complaints. After the meal, the waiter again brought us a cake/dessert that we did not order. I thought it was complimentary again, but when I got the check, I realized it was not. The check is not itemized either, just a total, but I could tell by the total that they charged us for the “complimentary” items that we did not order. Basically padding the bill. I filled out the electronic check wrong. I did not sign for a tip, though I crossed the box off for one. When I went home that night and checked my bank statement, they originally did not charge me for the tip, only the meal. A week later I checked again, and they added on for the tip, without a signature (I had checked a tip box, though didn’t sign for it). Not sure yet if I am going to fight it or not…..the owners did tell me that they used to live in Coney Island, NYC (thus the restaurant name) and that is what the waiter acted like, a NYC street hustler. My date felt very uncomfortable the whole time, as every time he came to our table, he focused on and addressed her. It was creepy. He forced food on us without an explanation or “complimentary gesture”, he just said “nothing”, no explanation. The whole meal was a hustle……I’m never going back again. I’ll drive to Knoxville for (better) Mediterranean Food…..
