Hokkaido Ramen House is one of those places that keeps me coming back again and again. I’ve tried several items on the menu, including the spicy ramen, spicy beef ramen, garlic tonkotsu ramen, and tonkotsu shoyu ramen, and every bowl has been consistently flavorful and satisfying. It’s also great to see that they’ve recently added hotpot to the menu, a nice expansion that adds even more variety.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. Trinity, the waitress, is genuinely one of the best servers I’ve ever encountered. She remembers what I usually order for my drink and often brings it out before I even have to ask, which isn’t intrusive at all, just incredibly impressive and thoughtful. She is always quick to take orders, checks in to make sure everything is okay once the food arrives, and consistently refills drinks without being prompted. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and warmth elevate the entire dining experience.
The restaurant itself has a clean, pleasant atmosphere that makes the food taste even better and encourages you to relax and enjoy your meal.
Overall, excellent food, a welcoming environment, and truly outstanding service. Highly recommended and special thanks to Trinity for consistently making every visit memorable.

I love Hokkaido! As someone who use to live in Japan, it brings back a lot of great memories and nostalgia. The waitress, Trininity, was very helpful and attentive! The store atmosphere is very nice, clean and well panned. If you’re in Shreveport and what Ramen, this is where I recommend 100% of the time!

Great atmosphere and even better food. The One Piece poster setup is a fun touch and adds a lot of personality to the space. The food was genuinely phenomenal — the colorful dumplings are a must-order. Our server, Trinity, was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. Easily a place I’d recommend and come back to.

My friend recommended that I try this establishment. This was my initial visit, and I found the food to be quite enjoyable. I particularly liked the takoyaki, which had excellent flavor. My husband was very pleased with his shrimp udon noodles. I also tried the spicy ramen, and I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10 for its wonderful flavor and seasoning. The waitress was exceptionally polite; I requested recommendations, and she suggested the spicy ramen. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone who appreciates ramen.

I love coming here! My favorite dish to get is the Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen. I love the fresh ingredients- bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and more! The service is excellent as well! All the servers are super friendly and that definitely is a big factor in keeping me coming back on top of the delicious food! When I come in, Trinity is usually here when I come in and she is amazing at what she does! I’m happy to bring my friends and know our meal is in good hands!

Our family of 5 ate there tonight and it was delicious! What made it even more exceptional was our waitress Trinity. She was the only waitress working the floor and her customer service was wonderful. What’s more is that my family and I just moved to Shreveport from Japan and this was the very first restaurant we tried in town…and it did not disappoint! From the thoughtful Japanese decor and atmosphere to the extensive menu and amazing food, this will be our go-to spot for our Japanese food fix. It was all so good, highly recommend!

I had the spicy beef ramen, but it wasn’t very flavorful and could use more seasoning. The Kani sushi was good, and the jalapeño poppers had a nice kick. The chicken nuggets were tasty, and the teriyaki chicken was solid. I also enjoyed the spring rolls—they were crispy and well made. Overall, some dishes stood out, but the ramen, being the main item, was a little disappointing and the server was not the best.

I was introduced to this place by a friend of mine that said they had good ramen. When I tried it, it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. This will make me never buy noodles out of the package ever again lol I got the seafood bowl and the house special mini hot pot. They both were so very good and the portion was amazing. I was able to eat on those two at least two days after my visit. Food was piping hot and the service was wonderful. Because I had gotten there right when they opened, it took a while for my food to come out but when it did!!! I am completely satisfied.

I’m allergic to Mammal & byproducts (Alpha-Gal)(including fume reactive) and Gluten intolerant (Celiac) so it’s rare that I eat out due to cross contamination even when places are allergy aware. Hokkaido has been a staple easy comfort food while I’m in Shreveport. The Chicken Rich broth is amazing and hearty. Skip the add-ons that are marinated in soy sauce and you will love this safe meal. A friend put me on to this place and I’m really glad they did I got the spicy ramen again and it was sooo goodThe broth has the perfect kick to it without being too much and the noodles were cooked just right. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful It’s definitely one of those meals you think about later The service was good Our waitress today took care of us and made sure we had what we neded She was different from the sweet girl who served me the first time both visits were great.
If you’re into anime they have super cool anime panel blinds of One Piece on the windows, which I thought was such a fun touch. Definitely will be back
