First time trying Pueblo Real, and I’m officially hooked! I had heard so many great things about this place, and I’m happy to say that it absolutely lives up to the hype.
The menu is full of tempting options, but one thing you have to try is the queso fundido ,a rich, cheesy chorizo dip that pairs perfectly with their warm chips. As a bonus, they serve complimentary fresh salsa and coleslaw that are both fresh and flavorful.
I went with the carnitas, and wow, perfectly seasoned, fall-apart tender. And if you’re into drinks, don’t leave without trying the Margarita Sampler. It’s a flight of four mini margaritas, each with its own twist, fun, flavorful, and just the right size to try a few without overdoing it.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

This is my fiancé’s and my favorite local restaurant. Seriously the best Mexican food around. The staff is so friendly and fun and the food and drinks are absolutely delicious.

By far the best Mexican restaurant in Erie. The food is comparable to Colorado communities. The service has been consistently top notch the last few meals. The food selections are well thought out with a wide variety of options. It truly has a bit of everything. Entree quality is comparable to $25 per plate. Seems like great leadership and the staff team appears really close knit. A great experience every time my family goes!

Good food but has consistently messed up my takeout order multiple times. Today i ordered all chicken enchiladas & received all beef. Last time I ordered wet chimichangas & received something that i could not even figure out what it was. Very frusturating.

Would definitely give this place higher than five stars if I could. It has a nice atmosphere, very clean, the food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We had the two meals that are server recommended – Grand Molcajete and Degollado Especial both were delicious! Portions were generous size and we both ended up with leftovers. The Margaritas were tasty. I forgot to ask our server’s name but looking at the receipt it showed A2/Diego2 5440. We will definitely be back. So happy to see Girard has an awesome Mexican restaurant.
