Absolutely love the food here. Kudos to their chef Who makes these delicious Dishes, the scallops and lamb were cooked to perfection. I also still dream about the mushroom ravioli! The atmosphere is dreamy and perfect for a date night. Handcrafted, cocktails, and wine selection is wonderful. Will continue going here into the summer when they have the back patio open to enjoy a cocktail outside. Bravo!

We were looking for dinner while in Oconomowoc and saw a new restaurant, Kavos. We ordered three shareable plates which were impressive with very nice presentation.
The charcuterie board was beautiful and had a great variety of meat and cheese as well as nuts olives and veggie sticks. We brought most of it home.
The foccacia and oil was wonderful. Hot and crusty. We gobbled that down! ( Not the same leftover!)
The roasted cauliflower was tasty, just not my flavor profile. This was middle eastern with hummus chickpeas raisins. We really didn’t need the third entree.
We shared a slice of key lime cheesecake which was tasty and would have enjoyed a cup of joe with dessert though.
We’ll be back to try some of their other interesting fare.

Kavos is a great new Greek restaurant downtown Oconomowoc!
The restaurant has a tasteful decor and lots of light that accentuates the curated cocktails and delicious small plates. The bartender and servers are phenomenal and a testament to the quality of the ownership.

I went here on a Wednesday night with my husband and it was good. We both had never been here before and it was a nice atmosphere to catch up and relax. I had made a reservation but upon arriving they did not even ask, they just seated us at an open table. I got the steak sliders and my husband got a scallop platter. The online menu I looked at was not up to date so the prices in store were higher than that of the online menu. We did not get any drinks while there just water. Although the plates are meant to be shared we both just ate our respectable orders. I would come back again, the service was fast but not rushed and the food was well prepared.

Kavos in Oconomowoc might be a small place, but it’s definitely not a small deal! The selection of small plates is absolutely fantastic. I first visited with a large group of women, and as it’s meant to be, we shared everything—giving me the chance to try so many different dishes. Each one was better than the last! I loved it so much, I came back tonight to sample a few more items, and once again, it did not disappoint. Try the Chimi Sirloin! What a fabulous addition to downtown Oconomowoc. Highly recommend!

We dined here for the first time last night! We loved the vibe! The food was excellent! Only thing I noticed which seemed confusing is that there isn’t a hostess check in table. So everyone walks in looking confused on where to go or who to check in with. I know we were confused. The bar is amazing! Very good service! We will be back!

Unfortunately, my experience at Kavos was pretty disappointing. The service was poor and the staff was not welcoming at all. The bartenders didn’t seem to know how to properly make basic drinks and weren’t friendly or engaging, which really set the tone for the visit.For the price, the food was very mid and didn’t live up to expectations. While the atmosphere itself was fine, the staff came off as judgmental and unfriendly, which made it uncomfortable to enjoy the space. Overall, it didn’t feel worth the money and I wouldn’t be in a rush to return.

Another wonderful restaurant by Llazar. From the beautiful atmosphere to the always phenomenal food it was a wonderful experience. Looking forward to being back. We had the bruschetta trip, lamb lollipops and the scallop risotto. All very fresh, complementary and delicious. The lamb was probably my favorite followed by the fruit and brie bruschetta. 10/10 will be back asap

Food and service were excellent. However, having 2 restrooms that are visible to the entire dining room is unconscionable for a more upscale restaurant. If we’re going to pay $200 for dinner, we don’t want to look at a toilet. Six customers used the bathroom and not one had the courtesy to close the door. We will not be back and will not recommend this restaurant to others.
