We tried this restaurant due to a Christmas gift card. The restaurant was easy to find. It has a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. The staff were courteous, attentive, and nice. The restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. We ordered King Salmon and Chicken & waffle. The Salmon was tasteful. Unfortunately the fried chicken was very dry and was not done correctly. The price was reasonable with adequate portion. We might try again but not their fried chicken.

Looked at reviews and finally decided to come try it out! Had been a super stressful day and was nice to sit back and relax. Very nice waitress who answered all my questions. Salad that came with my meal was the size of an entrée by itself. It was fantastic. Then the Twisted Chicken Spiedini came! Oh my goodness. Wonderful! I just got off a Virgin Voyages cruise…. THIS should have been on the menu! It was perfect! Lots of food! Not a cheap meal, but very good.

A surprising improvement on places to eat and enjoy your company. There is booth seating, table seating, and bar seating. The wait staff was very attentive. Drinks were refreshed, and the wait time between order and delivery was reasonable. The menu was breakfast focused with a healthy dose of lunch and dinner items. The prices weren’t too high, and the portions were good. Fully recommend this restaurant when you want to meet a small group (10-ish) of friends. The noise level is low enough to have a reasonable conversation with all in your party. Ordered a stake and was pleasantly surprised that it was cooked as ordered. The stakes was not over seasoned and required no additional sauces. The coffee is good here. If I had one critical issue, it was the water. The water was too chlorinated. Everything else was above expectations. We will be back for another meet up with friends.

I was solo today but definitely coming back with my wife (she was out of town today) so I decided to take myself out to brunch while I enjoyed Sunday service on the Slugger Roo App #pastorroo
I have had my eyes set to try the brunch board with steak medium scrambled with American cheese. Brooke was great and welcoming. Also Lynn made sure my 1st time visit was great. 10 out of 10 next time will have my wife so she can enjoy as well. So glad I finally tried Twisted Tavern St. Peters

The asparagus was tasty, however the portion size -vs- price point was dissapointing. The street corn was flavorful, interesting, and was a generous portion. The brussel sprouts where flavorful, however the grits were extremely bland and aoli didn’t really help the dish.

My server was Lauren. She was very sweet and attentive. She checked on me several times and offered refills.
ATMOSPHERE: 5⭐️
This eatery had a relaxed pub vibe. I am sensitive to noises… and they had a great selection of music, at just the right volume. MUCH appreciated.

We had an amazing experience! The Brussels and grits is DELICIOUS! We had the Chicken Spiedini and the Strip Steak. The wait is long for a reason and worth the wait every time. They were SLAMMED and I loved that manager (Lynn) was running around helping everyone. She checked on us several times to make sure everything was going ok. You can tell she’s been doing this awhile. Our server Alexa was the best! She did a great job. She was super sweet and that always makes the experience even that much better.

I had the tavern burger with asparagus and my wife had the skinny burger with fries. Nice place, but the wooden chairs were a little uncomfortable. Our server Madison was wonderful. Great personality and was very attentive of our needs. Burgers were excellent. Buns were toasted but still soft. Burgers were tasty and the sides were good. Overall a nice place, we will be back.

This was a recommendation from someone that dined in the night before. The level of excitement as she explained the menu, portions, and atmosphere had me headed there the next evening. It was all that she described and more.
It was close to kitchen closing time so there was no wait for a table at all. The ambience is a cozy warm feeling. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The menu is expansive and slightly intimidating (in a good way) given the assortment. We ordered the fried pickles as a starter. The portions are definitely meant for a table of four. They were crunchy and full of flavor. Fried pickles are hit or miss and these definitely were a hit! Ordered the Twisted Old Fashion. It was made as expected, nothing majorly exciting. For Mains, the Dirty bird with Brussels sprouts was ordered. Again, side portions were huge. Brussel sprouts were fantastic. It could have used a bit more drizzle. The chicken was cooked well and had a slight kick to it. The other main that was ordered was a classic pizza. It was cheesy and delicious.

everything was lacking flavor unfortunately. The tavern fries were good but the other apps (wontons and skewers) were underwhelming. I got the chicken sandwich and it was bland , and the Brussels spouts as a side had no seasoning. My wife’s filet cheesesteak was had no flavor and after 2-3 bites she wanted nothing more to do with it and the chipotle street corn had a nasty oil base to it that was very unappetizing . Maybe they’re better known for other menu items and we just picked the wrong ones but we had high hoped because we love twisted tree but this definitely didn’t remotely hold a candle to it in terms of food. Our server was great and the restaurant is cool and has nice decor but unfortunately the food would detour us from coming back and we’ll stick to twisted tree.

Is our second time in this location because the first service was awesome, got a booth and a fun relaxing dinner. This time we were seated on a high table across the bar. Appetizers were delicious, our food excellent but the best was our server Madison. She made the experience phenomenal, the drink suggested was well received, she explained any questions about the menu and made sure our food came out as we ordered and hot from the kitchen. The only drw back from this second experience was the music volume was high make it difficult to have a conversation across the comfy table. Thank you for a superior service. Will definitely go back soon.
