Grits were cold, I asked could I get hot grits they added water and reheated them on grill. They were so cold that the sliced cheese lol didn’t melt or wasn’t real. They still weren’t hot enough and now were mushy. Chicken was cooked till it was dried out, so I’m sure it was reheated. I didn’t eat my grits, neither did my husband. I picked the chicken off my bowl. I love waffle house but have not been in years, well I will not be back to this one. Waitress had a little attitude because I asked for hot grits. My steamed hashbrowns were great tho, but that’s not hard to do. Floor needed to be swept and there were only 3 tables occupied.

Vidor’s staff are extremely inviting – greating you from the grill when you enter the store and several staff members checking in during the meal. The food never disappoints! The pecan waffles are second to none.
And when you leave – the staff knows your name and calls you out to have a great day. I LOVE Waffle House!

This is the only place I can go where I can get blueberries and peanut butter in waffles. I absolutely love that and this place is incredible. It’s very clean inside and the wait stop is super friendly and attentive.
The cook really did a great job with the eggs hash browns and sausage. I was starving it totally hit the spot.

Took about 10min waiting on someone to take our order There was a REGULAR (she knew them by their names) customer next to us and she was like “It shouldn’t take this long for someone to take yalls order” I ordered the AllStar with sausage w/ waffle, also my husband ordered the single waffle with sausage and in both orders the sausages were cold and we asked Bre for some jelly for our waffle and she answered with an attitude “I am getting to that, My waffle was not even a waffle like did the batter finish for mine because my husband waffle was complete and round

Here at the Vidor waffle house you’re welcome like family as soon as you sit down your greeted with staff thats ready to make your day. The water was wet and the seats was not bouncy, waffles with luxurious syrup that slides down your throat easily. Currently, there are no smells at this location. However, the parking could be better. Friendly customers, no brawls at this time I will definitely come back to this place.

Very friendly happy atmosphere. Small town go to spot run by locals, for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, & after bar. Waitress is accurate and nice, has waited on us several times before. Cook (Joey) turned out excellent breakfast with fresh hash browns, medium cooked bacon, and a couple waffles for my son. Will Return to this location.

Since the remodel it has been nice to be able to go in and sit in a clean seat and see smiling new faces. They greet you at the door as they always do. The staff are friendly. The food was great. The service was fast. Very pleasant visit.
