Very good and crispy chicken, but dine in was closed even though an employee had their whole family inside. Going through the drive through the intercom was hard to understand and the employee argued with us on if they had white gravy even though its on the menu.
Overall I would recommend, but probably try to avoid this particular restaurant

I get the same food order almost everyday. 3pc white , 4pc all legs, both with mash and coleslaw, 5 pack peppers, and 2 drinks. With th 4pc all legs i order an extra leg, Why when I get home there’s a leg missing? I pay over $ 40 dollars each time and just want my food right!!! I still keep coming because I love Churches food but please let my order be right!!

The food was cold and over cooked. I ordered fried orka and poppers. The older lady at the drive-thru window is not welcoming. She has been rude on different occasions. I tried calling the location, but noone answered the phone.

I had a very unpleasant experience. The lady that was running drive-through did not ring my order up correctly, even after I verified it at the window. I was overcharged and when I brought it to Richard the manager’s attention, he said he heard what I said over drive-through and I was wrong. I was ordering lunch for my coworker and the order was written down on a piece of paper and I went to the drive-through to verify that the order was correct. The order total should have been $24.83. I was charged $27.04. The person running the register should not work there if they cannot figure out how to ring up combos effectively to save cost to the customer. To me that is stealing. Somebody needs to be trained. I’ve worked at multiple fast food locations and have not experienced someone that is incapable of operating a register correctly. They could have simply made it correct by refunding the two dollars. But instead, they want to argue that I made the mistake.

This location has the most rudest staff I’ve seen, primarily in the evening. Placed an online order on or about 7/03/2024 and it showed my order to ready for pick up by 8:45pm, granted that their closing hour is at 10:00pm. First the doors were locked, so I decided to go through the drive-thru. No one answer via drive thru after extensively waiting patiently. Secondly, I pulled up to the drive thru window. There was a lady working FOH who looked up at me on several occasions without any acknowledgment or to kindly say that they had to close early. While in drive thru the store lights went off. As the employees exited the building, I proceeded to ask for the simplest way to cancel my order and receive a refund. Lastly, Before a few words could be uttered, I was immediately interrupted by the same lady rudely saying, “can’t you see we’re closed”, while another employee (male) laughed as if what they did was funny. I am a restaurant manager and know all about most of the misfortune that can lead to a restaurant having to close early. However, who turns off the lights on a customer, leaves the building, and ignores the guest? Wow! There are an influx of restaurants chains in this area where recruiters expresses that the Charleston markets are the worst in the region pertaining to many restaurants, especially in fast food. Church’s is probably on that list. Trust me this information is not private. It’s not always “nobody wants to work”, but mostly the lack of continuity and/or the antithesis of solid leadership from the entire corporate/franchise chain of command.
Too much to share…I know. Just like these employees thought it was too much to address a guest.

The amount of reviews on this page about customer service is staggering. To be 5 plus months old reviews and nothing has been done about your rude staff? Lady at the counter acted like she was doing us a favor by placing our order. LOL. Highly unprofessional. Food was great but I’m surprised this place is still in business based solely on the customer service.

They have been out of the small/regular size cups for well over a year so in return customers are automatically charged the upgrade fee for a medium drink. The receipts list you can get a free leg, thigh or tender with survey completion yet the rep stated they do not sell those anymore (ironically it’s still being printed on the receipts). Don’t think either of those practices are fair. However, the food is good unlike the service.

I went to the drive-through. The person taking my order had an attitude and was rushing me. Why work in the fast food industry if you’re rude and unprofessional? I canceled my order and drove away. Avoid this location at ALL COSTS!

Would not take my order. I arrived at 10:30 am. Waited 15 mins in drive thru. No one would answer. And I was told by outside worker that the inside was closed.
