They served complimentary fresh bread and butter, which was a nice touch. I loved the Grilled Buffalo Wings—smoky and flavorful. With the staff’s recommendation, I also tried the Scallops, Flash-Baked Salmon, and Ratatouille with wild rice. While all the food was fresh, the wings were the standout for me.
A perfect mix of good food and great views!
Full disclosure – we had a reservation and ate dinner at the same time a wedding reception was happening. It’s possible that the issues we had were the result of the wedding. When we are back in the area, we may try it again, but I’m not sure.
The atmosphere was great. We sat outside and the sunset views were spectacular.
Service was really slow. Again – could be the result of the wedding, but as an example, it took ~20 minutes to bring two desserts after they were ordered. One entree was room temp when they finally arrived.
The food was okay, but not great. I ordered a filet, and asked for it to be medium rare. It came out mostly well done (barely found any pink). I would’ve said something, but since it took so long for our entrees to arrive, I couldn’t wait for another one, so I just ate it. One of our friends could barely eat her dish – simply took it home and discarded it.
I hope this isn’t the norm – but living 6 hours away, we were very disappointed.
Then, I tried the apple crisp for dessert, but it was very dry. It should have had a sauce on it per the menu. However, the waitress told me that it didn’t have a sauce. If the food and service improved, this would be the go-to place of the valley.
Great place for views. Staff is always very attentive and friendly! Hard to find that these days. The wings were great. Oysters were a tasty treat. The tuna was pretty good, but watch out for the wasabi- its the real deal. HOT! The calamari was very greasy and the ceasar salad was small and no dressing. Lots of interesting mixed drinks, but pricey.
great view…
