Please give this place try! Great food, great portions, great flavor and great price. What else is there in a “to go” place? If you like Puerto Rican food. You will love El Sabor de las Islas. I had to drive home to Batavia area and the smell just about had me pulling to the side of the road and indulging. Loved it and will make a special trip to go there soon.

This is usually my favorite spot , but I decided to try the stewed pork and it was literally 90% fat chunks .. it looked amazing until I actually got into it . Flavor was still great from the little I did get but I didn’t want stewed fat.

I had not visited this location in about 10 years. We needed something quick and decided to give it a try. I had white rice, red beans, and juice from their chicken. Nothing stood out for me. I may consider returning to give it one more try.

I purchased a large pork meal with rice and beans. They didn’t have any cabbage only salad . The lady had an attitude . The pork was dry and salty She charged me for 3 empanadas and I asked for 2 and only got 2. I called as soon as I noticed they didn’t answer the phone . Next time I will go somewhere else won’t get my service anymore .
