Went to breakfast at the Dacula Diner earlier this morning and decided to grab take out from My Big Fat Greek Taverna for lunch and WOW I am so glad I did. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Platter to go. The chicken kebabs were so good, grilled to perfection and so tender. The rice was absolutely delicious and the lemon potatoes are now my newest addiction. The pita was so soft and fluffy and that mustard sauce was such a perfect pairing. I was going to save some for my husband to try but I think I’ll be greedy and keep it all for me. The food is so good! And that Baklava! Such a sweet and decadent dessert that makes you feel good about eating it. This place is now my favorite lunch and dinner spot.

Beautiful little restaurant with friendly hosts. The food taste of higher quality! They use lots of lemon and black pepper so that was a nice change. The lemon soup comes out so hot, and would be a great soup to help you feel better we got the Moussaka as well and it was a very feeling meal.
When we come back we will try a more typical meal to see how they compare to other Greek places in area but I feel they are more true to Greek cultural .
They have made a lot of small improvements to restaurant to make it a special meal!

If Greek cuisine is what you’re looking for, look no further. The gyro was delicious, and the lemon potatoes were amazing!!! After my lunch I got some of their wedding cookies. Mmmmm. I will be coming back to get more delicious Greek food at My Big Fat Greek Taverna.

Extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff. The only thing better than the staff was the food. The lamb was excellent. The salad dressing was made in house and delicious but I believe they have the best tzatziki sauce I’ve ever eaten at this place. Someone in my party ordered a burger. Delicious as well, half pound patties. Fries cooked perfectly. These people know what they are doing. It’s gonna be my regular stop. Also it’s refreshing to go into a family owned business that enjoys what they do, and do it well.

We have tried many Mediterranean restaurants and hands down this has been FAR the best that we have been to! Whoever is cooking on the kitchen knows definitely how to use the flames on the grill for the chicken. Just the right touch of flame with phenomenal seasoning and you have a recipe to keep me a customer for life! You won’t regret this place! Also the desert is to die for!

Cute little spot. The table could have used a little qwipe down. The food was good. The sauce was good. I just ate the wrap there and saved the rice and potatoes for later. The potatoes were seasoned well.

What a great place for a nice lunch. Both the inside and outside are beautifully decorated and the customer service was fantastic. The food was so delicious and so fresh, we raved about it the entire time. The lemon chicken soup was divine and my chicken shish kabob was flavorful, filling and tender. Everything was incredible and we are very excited to come back!!

Truly delicious! What brought me here were the photos and the stars. No one recommended it to me, and it’s the first time I’ve seen it. Good portions, delicious, healthy, homemade! P.S. Don’t expect to rush, as it can take 20 minutes to get your food, but it’s worth it!
