Amazing place to grab a burger and a cold drink in an authentic small town Americana environment. Lee gave fantastic service, was so friendly to my family, and even gave my kids fresh grapes! We will be back!

We had an amazing experience at R&D. We had been on a long road trip and really needed a pitstop. R&D was just what we needed! Lee the barman was THE best host and pretty soon the kids were playing pool and throwing darts. If you are ever driving through, this is a must stop spot.

Well stocked bar with local beers. They have burgers and a few other items on the menu. The bartender is also the waitress and also the cook. They were really friendly and the food was good. I would make it a point to stop again.

I love my Rubens…it always amazes me how different they can be. The Ruben here is made with spicy mustard, which is more or less the norm for this part of the country.

AMAZING! Lee and his staff were the sweetest! They graciously opened their establishment to my kids and dogs! And the burgers were the best I have had!!! Please do yourself a favor and visit! I am an old soul and loved everything about this place! Put a dollar on the wall and come back every year! It’s worth the drive! Thank you so much! We will be back!!! And we will be telling every person we know!!! ❤️

A true piece of Americana with excellent food.
I biked here from Fallon and literally everyone welcomed me, showed interest and even shared history about the town.
The burger was a 1/2 pound, delicious and smothered in love and bacon. The fries were amazing – fresh cut and cooked perfectly.
A particular shout out to Lee who made me feel at home and took good care of me.
While there isn’t a lot on Google maps in Gabbs, there is a Motel and Gas station across from the bar. Lee also manages both. The rooms were quaint and functional – a much needed rest from my days in the backcountry.

This is a gem of a find! The owner and bartender are both wonderful! We love stopping by here to rest up and have a few! The burgers are yummy, chicken strips, patty melts and more!! We love this little bar! Hope you stay open! We will see you around Halloween 2022 for another round!! Cheers!!

R & D’s was such a great surprise for us. Everyone was so awesome. The owner came over to introduce himself. Let me tell you we had the best cheese burger ever. No frozen meat fresh lettuce tomato onion on the side as well as pickles in a dish for the 4 of us. Fresh homemade fries. Everything was served together and the portions were enormous. The chile fries my daughter ordered were delicious. The bar was busy and the bar tender was also the cook. She did an awesome job. We will be returning very soon. Loved that the place was so laid back clean and friendly
