Classy, cool speakeasy hidden within the walls of The Oliver Hotel. Great decor, so chill, and Damien was a friendly, efficient, and personable bartender. They were having a special event in the restaurant that prevented me from ordering a burger, but he made sure they got me some Confit Duck Spring Rolls, and they really hit the spot! He also made a delicious Paris(?) Martini. Can’t wait to visit again!

This is an incredible speakeasy with truly inventive cocktails. Some other places have opened recently in Oxford that have tried to claim they are speakeasys, but Nightbird is the real deal. They know the classics, and they are inventive with their own drinks too. We really like their menu as well. There is not much on it, but what’s there is great.

Night Bird Bar is a true hidden gem, but the real star of the show is Cara! Hands down the best bartender I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her attention to detail, warm personality, and instinctive service took the whole experience to another level. Before I even had time to think about my next drink, Cara had it ready—perfectly made and exactly what I wanted. It’s rare to come across someone with that kind of intuition and professionalism. If you’re lucky enough to sit at her bar, you’re in for an unforgettable night. Can’t wait to come back!

I loved this speakeasy. Low key, fancy vibe perfect for a relaxing drink before going out, between stops or to top off the night. They have an extensive list of masterfully crafted and traditional cocktails. Range of seating with two-top tables, a couple couches for a bigger group or the quaint bar which seats 6-8. I loved the decor. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. One of my favorite places during our visit. Enjoy the fun of finding the door!
