Love the pizza ! super good and juicy as well. I see some low reviews on here but honestly they’re not giving this new pizza place a chance. everyone is new they’re not pro pizza makers yet it’s been 2 weeks. you have to have the decency at least to understand that. But other then that you guys are doing amazing keep up the good work.

Great place to dine in and have a chill evening ! Food was fantastic and great vibe in the restaurant..

I like the classic cheese pizza which was delish, right amount of cheese and perfect crust.

I also appreciated the staff and the fact that they checked how my experience was and their friendliness.

Mountain Mike’s ended up being a really solid experience, mostly because the service stood out. You can tell they’re used to handling families and big groups, but they still made the interaction feel personal. It had that neighborhood, family-style pizza joint feel where the staff actually seems to care that you’re having a good experience.

The pizza itself was exactly what you want from Mountain Mike’s – hearty, loaded, and consistent.

It was great service, nice and fresh and as speedy as could be for the amount of people in there and the people up front handled it amazingly. Very excited to have a new pizza place in manor

Ever hear the “old” adage that pizza is like sex? Even when bad, it’s still good. Mountain Mike’s breaks the mold, baby!

It’s bad. Real bad.

To quote a food chain critic/reviewer: “My disappointment is immeasurable, & my day is ruined.”

My partner & I had been looking forward to this joint opening for quite a while. “Finally,” we said, “a decent pizza place that might offer something better.” Never heard of Mountain Mike’s before, but it seemed like patrons of theirs in other locations enjoyed MM’s pizza. And based off the reviews here, Manor residents as well. Nothing wrong with that. But I couldn’t, in good faith, ever recommend this place.

We placed an order for a large (14 in) pepperoni pizza on a Saturday night. Price? $26. Holy cow. It’s fine, it’s fine… it’s sure to be good. It’ll be a little splurge every so often, we tell ourselves. Total with tip came to be a touch over $30. Order placed, estimated wait time 20 minutes, and once we hit that time, we head over (5 minutes drive, tops).

Now, we get here, and I’m going to pause the negativity for a moment. Place is clean and organized (it is new, but still, credit where credit is due) and the staff are kind & attentive. I get our pizza, and we head out back home. By the time we get home, this pie, based on receipt & expo ticket, couldn’t have been over 12 minutes out of the oven.

Pizza was lukewarm. Pepperonis? Dry, brittle, burnt. Sauce was nonexistent (some places skimp on sauce and/or cheese, based on their style, so whatever), cheese was bleh, and crust was like was like chewing over kneaded bread. The kind of pizza from elementary school, if they decided the dough needed to be 4 times as thick, and the lunch lady forgot about the timer while on smoke break (RIP Susan, we miss you). This is the kind of crust you’d eat when it’s jaw day at the gym. The kind of crust you’d give to nursing home residents when they ask for gum with the fine flavor of gluten.

Plus, my partner found an object (Plastic? String?) in one of her slices. Probably from a bag of cheese, but still, quality control needed there.

There are places, when something is wrong, or off, or what have you, and you’d still go back, give the place a second chance, because you understand it could be growing pains, an off night, or just unforeseen issues. For me?

There is no way I could see all the issues with this product being resolved, especially for a chain. Changing the dough, the baking process, and additional flavor to the base components seems impossible at this point. And for that reason, I’m out.

You want to spend $30 dollars and get a better pizza? Go into Austin, get you some Home Slice, Little Deli, etc. You want cheaper, but still good? There’s a Double Dave’s, Dominos, & Little Caesar’s here in Manor. You want to try the MM’s experience, but not at that price point? Go across the street to Walmart and buy the cheapest frozen pizza, bake it in the oven on the cardboard it came in, and forget about it until the next morning, THEN eat it. For the real experience, also purchase a lighter along with the frozen pizza, then burn a $20 bill.

Do not eat Mountain Mike’s. Be better. You deserve it.

Thank you for joining me on my TED Talk.

P.S.: I’m pretty sure MM’s owner responses are AI based on the other reviews I’ve read. Another knock against this place.

Tables to sit outside would be amazing, place is too small. Otherwise the food was awesome.
