I really wanted to like this place. I love small town bars, but this place is just a miss. First, the positive. I came at a time when the restaurant was slammed with families from a local basketball game. Under the circumstances our orders were taken quickly and the food was ready in a timely manner. I added a trip to the salad bar to my meal and even though extremely Limited it was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my salad. Unfortunately, that’s all I enjoyed. The popcorn shrimp tasted fishy, the crinkle cut fries were flavorless and old. They did not salt them and salt won’t stick once they’re at the table. The BLT was much more mayonnaise than bacon. There was no ketchup to be found and when we asked for some at the bar we were given a bottle that had more ketchup ( old and krusty) on the outside then the inside. I definitely did not feel comfortable using it. The soda is in cans and over all the vibe is run down and unclean.

Great fish but slow service even when there was plenty of tables open and not that busy. We probably waited 20 minutes before even getting drinks orders.

We like trying different places in different small towns. Had heard positive things about this place. Tonight wasnt a positive. Over an hour wait from ordering to food arrival. And the food was only OK. Cook needs to learn how to cook more than one order at a time. Too bad because it’s a cool little bar and grill.

Juicy and stacked, couldn’t fit my chin!
The bun was soft, the patty was thick,
Each bite was magic, every flavor just clicked.
Crispy fries on the side, piled up high,

Came in this weekend after not being in for probably 20 years. Staff are friendly and good people, the wait on food was quick for how packed the house was. Great service; It really is the Good Ol’ Days.

We got there on fish night, the fish was very good. It was a little cold in there so you had to eat quick or your fish would get cold. Other than that, the wait staff was friendly, courteous and readily available. It was good to see somebody using the space once again. Seward county needs more good options for food. So I’m glad these people got this open.

This is a fun place to go to get drinks and good food! Great atmosphere and great service! You have to go and try the gizzards! So flavorful! So crispy! And bite size to pop in your mouth!!
