Had some of the best tacos I’ve had for a long time! We had the Biria, the chicken, shrimp and barbacoa. If I had to recommend, I would pick the Biria and the shrimp. The hot sauce hit just right as well. We tried the sugarcane lemonade as well. Service was good, the person taking our order even offered to sub the tacos in the platter when we asked if it would be possible due to dietary restrictions. Just one issue – food could have been warmer. By the time all of our orders were ready, the rest of the tacos were cold.

Must eat here!!! Tacos were so flavourful and meat tender. The birria has the perfect amount of smokiness and the al pastor, the perfect amount of spiciness. For a side, I tried esquites and WOW. Just phenomenal. Same with the tres leches. Whole experience was great: friendly and smiling staff, delicious food, and clean environment. Will definitely be back. Thank you! (No pics of the food since I ate it all immediately )

WOW!! We love Grill23. Some of the best tacos we’ve had. We tried them out at a pop-up taco event and fell in love. We ended up booking them to cater our wedding and they did an unreal job. If you’re ever looking for catering, definitely book this team! We asked to announce the food was ready to our guests and he ended up making jokes, and being heartfelt with us even if he barely knew us. All our guests loved him, loved the food and had so much fun with the team. The energy, the FOOD, the atmosphere – all absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for bringing your creations to London area <3 I wish we could re-live our wedding day just to have more of your food with all our friends and family!

We’ve not experienced Grill 23 food before. But, have heard good things about their food and the authenticity. We went tonight and asked for suggestions, which we were pleasantly happy with. We actually tried 4 different things and would go back again for sure. The food was delicious. Our server Alegra was very pleasant and extremely helpful.
Recommend The Esquites , Flautas, Grilled Shrimp & grilled chicken tacos. Only because we haven’t tried anything else…….Yet

We popped in before a show at The Grand. The food and service was incredible. We tried tacos and build your own bowl. All were flavourful and great value. The staff was wonderful, especially with my young child who wasn’t sure what he wanted. They listened and made a perfect suggestion that he loved. A hidden and unassuming gem! We will be back many times.

Me and my girlfriend attended their Mexican 5 course dinner event and everything was amazing. The staff was super friendly and always looking after the customers, food was delightful and they payed attention to detail creating real authentic dishes with hard to match flavours and the experience overall was amazing. Five of us dined at the Ilderton location and had THE BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had outside of Mexico. The birria is prepped over three days and the flavour is so intense and deep. Others in our party had equal comments. I’m reluctantly giving this high praise as I’m afraid it will become known and super busy — they deserve it! — and it will be hard to get a table. That’s the only bummer, there’s only four tables for dine in. Most of their business is take-out. A perfect 6 out of 5 stars though!

We attended their January authentic Mexican experience event. The food was so delicious – every one of the 5 courses was unbelievable. Taking inspiration from the Yucatan, the flavours and dishes were a true testament to the passion that this family-run small business puts into their food. Staff is so friendly too. This is my hands down favourite Mexican restaurant in London. The city is so fortunate to have Grill 23 ❤️

Very good tacos. I seen this place on instagram and decided to go try it out on my lunch break. They have taco Tuesday and Thursday, which is buy 3 get one free. I got the beef Barbacoa and the sirloin tacos. Definitely loved the Barbacoa tacos more. Sirloin was a bit chewy. Can’t wait to go back and try the chicken and shrimp. They also have bowls, soups, nachos. Worth the trip
