TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This was my first time at Dave’s, and im not disappointed, i find the food to be much like zaxbys but with more options, the chocolare shake was kinda mid but the chicken was really good and hit the spot, the “hot: spice wasnt over bearing like the heat scale at bird code and I found I had far more options for portions and price. I Will most certainly be returning to try more of the food and to attempt the “reaper” spice level.

We arrived in town late and were in need of a last-minute meal, and the experience could not have been better. The service was impeccable, and Dee—the young lady who helped us—was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcome. It was the perfect introduction and warm welcome to Connecticut. Exceptional service all around.

As soon I walked in I was very impressed with the quality of the store and how well it is put together. The walls are painted with a nice design that seems to fit well with the vibe. I ordered the #3 and it was phenomenal. My sauce choice was hot and extra hot and they delivered. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. All in all this place deserves a 10/10 for the food, the atmosphere and service! Will be coming back very soon…

Dave’s hot chicken, is a dope chicken spot
Not gonna be the best chicken you ever had but definitely solid. Most locations gonna taste the same the hot is not to hot not bad. Haven’t had the hottest one yet maybe next time.
Chicken fries was good fries was a soggy but that’s expected with all the sauce on it. Didn’t have much chicken u can count the pieces but it was cool 20$ for a large and a drink not to bad
Overall a cool spot
It’s fast food but it’s good

Delicious food as always. I love spicy chicken sandwiches and no one does it right except Dave’s. The customer service was incredible. Adrien was super friendly and always checking in on us. She’s an incredible worker she should get a raise. Never have I come into fast food and had such great hospitality.

Had to check out the newly opened Dave’s Hot Chicken in Stamford. It was busy, but the staff kept things moving, and went above and beyond while I waited. The food was great— chicken was nice and crispy, and they worked to keep the place clean. I hope they’re able to keep up this level of service ongoing!

The atmosphere inside felt perfect for their brand. I liked the graffiti art on the walls as I felt it gave Dave’s a unique detail that most fast food chains don’t have. The music went well with the type of environment they foster. Despite mainly serving chicken, Dave’s Hot Chicken offers a plethora of options to choose from. I did find the customer service to feel rushed and unenthusiastic, but the food was nonetheless great. The chicken and fries were crispy, but the bun on my slider lacked flavor and did not compliment the sandwich as I imagined it would. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken because the texture and flavor of the chicken were amazing. Their sauces also pair well with their sandwiches and tenders. Today, I used their signature sauce and some honey on my sandwich to add even more flavor.
