First…..after eating here I feel that in the past I have given 5 stars to easily. This place is a real 5 stars. 1. The place is very clean and the bathrooms are beautiful. 2. Was greeted right away by Ken who was our server. Ken was friendly and communicative and cared about our experience. 3. The food. I have been to Thailand and this was on par with the best Thai food from Thailand. Don’t laugh but I ordered orange chicken………..OMG best I ever had. The table took half my plate so I asked Ken for his next recommendation and I had pad thai. I have been to the legendary pad thai restaurant in Bangkok and from what I can remember this was right there with it. Food was all served hot out of the kitchen. This place is IMPRESSIVE.

I had fried tofu, mixed vegetables, egg fried rice, mango sticky rice and Thai iced tea here!

The food is delicious and the staff was understanding enough to prepare a proper vegetarian dish for me.

The atmosphere here is good for families and children.

If you have a sweet tooth, go for the mango sticky rice or the Thai iced tea, you won’t regret it!

Delicious food, great service! That’s all we need. I’ve been eating orange chicken from so many different restaurants, different cuisines and theirs is hands down the best I’ve had!
Calamari was good, crunchy. Pad see ew was a tad dry , pineapple fried rice was okay.
Customer service was excellent!

Really nice lunch here. One of the only places in San Diego I found that does a proper Thai Omelette! Everything was really tasty. The Papaya Salad was nice and properly spicy. Not pictured here, but I got the Mango sticky rice to go as well as a Chicken Massaman Curry. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu and make sure the quality stays consistent. If it does, then I found my new “go to” Thai Restaurant in East County.

Got the Pineapple Curry with pork, and the Green Curry with beef. Both curries were watery and not creamy. Most likely the coconut milk was not allowed to cook down until the oils separated before adding the curry pastes. The pineapple curry contained green grapes and tomatoes, which is not traditional. The 5 heat level was undetectable. Both curries were not bad, but just ok.

This is a decent thai restaurant in santee I usually get the orange chicken my wife will try different things but as of lately she is not a fan and does not accompany me I do like the orange chicken spicy level 3 and I know orange chicken is not exactly thai but I honestly prefer Panda Express orange chicken but if you want thai food and want authentic thai food you should definitely consider faidang

Extremly delicious thai food. Not a busy place. Average dish is roughly $12 -15 a plate. A variety appetizers, soups, and noodles to choose from. Love how you have the options to chose your proteins and spice levels from 1- 10. Waiter was very attentive. Resturant was clean.

They changed their name from Sabee Lee to Faidang. This is one spot I frequent every time I’m in San Diego. I love their crab fried rice. My mom enjoyed their summer rolls.

This was my 1st time here. I’ve been wanting to try it for sometime and it did not disappoint. My boys had the Chicken Satay. It looked and smelled amazing. My husband decided to be adventurous and try the Drunken Noodles w/chicken (medium heat). While it wasn’t his cup of tea it seemed to be cooked well and the portion was generous. He also got fried eggs rolls which were fine. I stayed within my normal range and got Chicken w/Noodles soup with wontons. The soup was quiet good and the wontons were crispy and filling. Overall, it was a good experience. Service was quick and courteous. I will definitely return. I do wish they had online order capabilities as well as delivery but not a huge problem.

I have loved this place for many years! I didn’t realize before arriving that the name had changed, but I was relieved to see signage stating the ownership and chefs remained the same. Delicious as always! They did change up the decor, so it’s more “modern” now (I loved the classic decor before) but nothing to complain about.
