Listen to the reviews. The wait time is horrible and I order ahead of time. My food was done first and then I was waiting for my drink and I understand that sometimes drinks take longer than the food or it is very busy day but I spent over 30 minutes waiting on a drink and I had to say it twice for someone to finally get my drink out. However, the employees are great and nice but I don’t think it’s worth the wait.

I stop by this Starbucks pretty often, and today I was super impressed! There’s a new assistant manager, Annalyssa, and you can instantly feel the difference. She actually came over to chat, asked about my usual order, and just genuinely wanted to get to know her customers. It wasn’t forced or fake — you can tell she really cares about creating a welcoming vibe. With her kind energy and attitude, this store already feels so much more inviting. Big shoutout to her — customer service like that makes all the difference!

The new remodel is a big let down for those of us that come in to study and get some work done.
They took out some seating so its more limited. Brightly lit instead of the darker setting it was. The music is usually too loud but now that they reduced the space, it sounds louder. On top of the people trying to have a conversation and the baristas working.
Idk what’s going on up in corporate but they are missing a huge demographic being close to college town from CSUF and the other high schools around the area.

I thought it may have just been me being impatient the first time I was here, but it happened a second and third time, so I had to go to the reviews. Yup, customer service and wait time are absurd here! It’s a shame because it’s in such a nice location. ♂️

extremely slow service. everytime i go through the drive through around 5pm it takes 15 min even though im the third car in line. sandra always has an attitude and doesn’t great or smile. she will ask you to tip with a straight face and hand you your drink with no words.

Ordered inside at 10:45am with no wait, waited 30 minutes for two drinks, one of the drinks were wrong. Saw 30 minutes of mobile orders just sit with no one picking up, drive through line was maybe 5 cars long? No line ever for in person orders.
If it’s gonna be 30 minutes to make an iced tea and a latte, give me a heads up at least so I can go somewhere else.

I’ve been coming here since we moved to Placentia 2 years and they always seem to be understaff, poor management. The wait times are insanely long. I even started putting it in my order before we head over and we still wait 20 minutes for drinks

I come to this Starbucks all the time. Sometimes I just walk in. Sometimes I buy them by car. Every time I walked in, the shopping experience was very good. The counter staff were very warm and friendly. But the car purchase has had more than three bad experiences. Most of them are deliberately inaudible, or don’t understand. Like a medium cup, or a pump of syrup, and even then they gave me the wrong one. I could only tell her what I needed again at the window, and she was very impatient to finish it, and before I could say thank you, she left the window. I think her behavior is very impolite.
Update:
They’ve installed a new system. Now, when you order at the drive-thru, you can actually see the staff’s faces on the screen, which makes the experience much nicer. They’ve also changed the staff at the window, and the current team is a lot friendlier and more patient than before.

Service here is consistently bad. The employees don’t seem to care about customer service. Wait times are consistently bad. I always have to make sure I have 15 minutes to spare in the drive thru. The last time I was here, the girl charged me and gave me 1 out of my 2 drinks and then left to go do who knows what. I could see her off to the side while I stared at my second drink. I finally got someone else’s attention and they gave me my other drink.
