Tried to order a spicy chicken sandwich and was told, “We ain’t dropping no more food.” Fair enough. Apparently the fryer clocked out before I did.
They did offer a regular sandwich, so I asked for spicy sauce on the side. I also ordered two wraps, because logic would suggest that if wraps are on the menu, the chicken inside them might still exist.
Customer service, however, was the real entrée. Every time I asked a question, the cashier (nose ring, unforgettable performance) closed the window to loudly trash talk me with her coworker. Not after I drove away. Not subtly. Repeatedly. Front-row seating to the disrespect.
The food itself?
Wraps: Ice cold, like they’d been stored next to the ice machine for emotional support.
Fries: Lukewarm, boldly mediocre.
Sandwich: Somewhere between “been sitting” and “should’ve stayed sitting.”
Drink: Shockingly fine. Gold star.
I understand closing procedures. What I don’t understand is when this food was cooked. 9:00? 9:30? Yesterday? And what happens to anyone brave enough to order at 10:50 PM—a room-temperature surprise?
This location is not struggling. It has given up.
Customer service is a joke.
Food quality is a joke.
And effort? Missing in action.
A manager’s number (Wilford) was posted on the drive-through. I texted him. I’ll update if he responds—but I’m not holding my breath, just like the food wasn’t holding heat.
If you value hot food and basic respect, I highly recommend the Whataburger or Church’s Chicken on either side of this place.
I usually go to the Whataburger next door for late-night meals and they’ve never disappointed. I should’ve trusted my gut—unlike this place, it’s rarely cold
Whenever family comes into town—whether it’s for a family gathering or a football game—I always recommend this location. They never disappoint and always provide a great experience. Highly recommended!
