The servers were very friendly. The menu has a very large selection of Tex-Mex cuisines. They do offer 2 salsa, but the red is what is brought to the table. Most of my group had the menudo and said it was very good. I had the tamales with salsa verde and cleaned the plate. Somewhat small diner, but they do have a covered outdoor seating area as well.

Service is very warm and friendly. Everything had pretty presentation BUT Menudo was good, monterrey chicken was ok, chilaquiles & potatoes were dry , beans tasted a little old. Coffee was run down.

Definitely will be back. Love the authentic flavor. The salsa is actually spicey. The chips were fresh. Everything was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the walls and doors were so filthy. I mean, even a blind person could see this. It’s bad. And spider webs everywhere, so yea dust everywhere as well. The floor and tables were clean, though, which is most important, but the booth we were sitting in the wall was horrible. I do not expect everything to be spotless, considering it’s a small home like place and not overpriced. But I am picky with the bathroom. The door was so dirty. But anyways.. You want something close to your mom’s kitchen. This is the place.

Well this place did not disappoint. We were quite pleased with our last minute decision to go here. It’s on the outskirts of historic downtown Mansfield. It’s clean and sparsely decorated. Our waitress was attentive and the food was fantastic. We started with queso which was addictive. It was so good. I got the soft tacos and my friend got the chili relleno. It’s the best I tried. The sopapillas were different than what I’m used to but they weren’t bad. Looking forward to another visit.

The gueso de res rojo was awesome! I came in wanting carne gesada, but this ended up being a blessing today. No idea why they don’t have a better rating, they should for sure. If you haven’t been here yet, check them out sometime.

Small little place in downtown Mansfield. Nice chill place for dinner and food is priced very well if you’re trying to have a good meal without breaking the bank. I had the build your own combo. Very delicious and only $10.

Very homey feel. Staff are very attentive and friendly. I had the tamales today and the taste was good. I chose not to add the chili sauce on top because that’s just not my cup of tea. I like mine plain. Overall good experience. It is texmex though. Things are not spicy but have good taste. I do have to say the beans were great. Tasted like my grandma just cooked them… big thumbs up!!
