Well, I was excited to try but was pretty let down by the quality and presentation. Would not try again nor recommend.

Food; 4/10
Service: 6/10
Atmo: cart pod
Overall: would not recommend

Nigiri was low-quality revolving sushi quality at twice the price. Did not pass my “salmon test.” I’ve had much better sushi for half the price. The sushi rice definitely took it down a notch.
Udon was skimpy on nüdz, ab half of what comes in a pack of instant udon. Broth was better than packet broth. Tempura shrimp were made ahead of time and tasted like it. Lots of wakame.
The veggie tempura was ODD. it was like fish fry, nothing like tempura. Worse than the nigiri.
Poke bowl was small and sad.

Overall, can’t see how they’ll last unless ppl really don’t have a palate for quality.

No smiles or warmth when ordering, either.

Excellent, exactly what I expect from a sushi cart. Very excited to have another sushi option in town. Will definitely come back, need to try the udon next. The beef udon is a winner!

Well, I was hopeful, but guarded about the new food cart at the Canby Beer Library. Unfortunately we still don’t have good sushi in town.

The nigiri might have been passable at a sushi train place, but the rice was bland and the sashimi was small and lacking. My partner and I love good sushi, but this didn’t make the cut by any standards.

I was excited to to the poke combo bowl with salmon, tuna, and shrimp, but it was so plain and small for $17 ( which is higher than most for that size) and we didn’t even get wasabi or ginger with it. No veg or toppings other than a tiny bit of eel sauce and mayo.

The miniscule bowl of tempura udon was a shock. It looked like a kids meal, not an adult portion. A smidgen of noodles, very dark, plain broth with barely any green onion, a tiny fish cake slice, and a couple of small, leftover-tasting shrimp. Not a good choice. Certainly not worth the price.

I ordered the veggie tempura and was pretty grossed out by the appearance when I opened the box. It looked like leftovers from the day before, was burned and over battered in what appeared to be fish fry batter(?), and there was no way to tell what was what. Tiny pieces of random, sad veg scraps in greasy, burned, fish fry was the icing on the cake.

$49 plus tip. We won’t be back. It tasted like sadness.
