This is quintessential college sports bar. Definitely get the wings here rather than the boneless. The boneless have way too much breading.
The wings are the real deal. They are HUGE. Blue cheese was good. I got Spicy garlic. Was a good sauce. Order 15 and only finished 7. The to go box feels like I have 25 still!
Fried pickles were very good. Extra crispy the way they’re supposed to be.
Fried jalapeno tasted like fried jalapeno poppers. They were also very good. The ranch is excellent.

Excellent Service & a wonderful wide selection of choices of Food & Beverages. The atmosphere is Sports Restaurant & Bar. Many Televisions surround the Walls throughout. It is exciting as there is always a favorite Sporting Event on & you’ll be sure to find a TV with your favorite Sport. There are Booths to Tables to Pub Height Tables to Outdoor Covered Patio Seating to Bar Seating. Bring your Dog on a Leash to enjoy the environment as well. Food is always Hot & Delicious. Drinks are always kept filled & if you save room for Dessert, they have that too! They have a Children’s Menu. Usually it isn’t hard to get seated unless it’s a huge Ball Game or Sport Playing.
STRUTS of Jacksonville is conveniently located near the Jacksonville State University Campus. Prices here are very good. Servings are over sized for the money. I always need a Take-Home Box….lol

Worst Experience I’ve Had in a Very Long Time!
I honestly can’t believe how bad today’s visit was — especially compared to the incredible food and service we had just this past Friday night. Normally, experiences this bad are reserved for rundown IHOPs or Shoney’s, not one of my all-time favorite restaurants.
The food was very late coming out, and when it finally did, it was completely inedible — like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. The fries were rubbery, the sandwich was burnt and dry, and all of our drinks were flat. The waitress seemed to know how bad it was, because she never came back to check on us.
A second waitress tried her best to make things right and even went to get the manager — who never cared enough to come check on the table. That alone says everything about how far the standards have slipped.
To make matters worse, it honestly felt like we were the talk of the bar. As we left, not one person made eye contact — just a few smirks from nearby customers who seemed to find the situation entertaining. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely beneath what I’ve come to expect from this place.
We didn’t ask for anything free, we paid the full bill, and we still left a generous tip out of respect for the staff — but it’s safe to say this experience left a lasting impression, and not the good kind.
I truly hope management takes this seriously, because if this is the new normal, you’ve lost one of your biggest fans

Worse experience ever!!!! Me and my wife walked in and we were instantly mistreated. The hostess grabbed our menus and appointed us a server that immediately declined our service. So we were put into another section that was super dirty with paper towels inside the booth and trash on the seat. So we ignored the negativity and tried to enjoy ourselves but we sat there for 20min before we decided to get up and spend our money elsewhere. Ruined our night for sure

To go order. My husband’s side salad and my taco salad both had a lot of wilted and brown lettuce in them. My ground beef was overcooked huge chunks instead of small pieces. Only had a few tiny pieces of tomato. They forgot to include my extra salad dressing. Fries and Philly cheese steak were cold. The $10 peanut butter explosion dessert was pretty small and was like a frozen boxed dessert from the grocery store. Dry and tasted like a Little Debbie cake. Last time we dined in our spinach artichoke dip was rotten!! It was nasty. For sure not getting to go food from here anymore.

Super super busy GameDay Saturday night. Service was a bit slow, but reasonable for the size of the crowd. Our server was so sweet. Lots of parking and an easy walk to the stadium.

Although historically good, this visit was not acceptable. There was a long wait where no one came to the table or acknowledged that we were seated. Appetizer and food arrived at the same time. Appetizer combo was cold. Burger that I ordered was overcooked and dry. No drink refills. It seems that the bingo game took priority over the food and service. Please bring back the Struts that we have enjoyed over the years.

It wasn’t very busy in the restaurant. We had to wait a long time for our server to greet us and get our drink and food orders. The wings were overcooked and did not have sauce. Partners sliders were served with the wrong condiments. Our server did not check on refills or on the food. Overall, a terrible visit. Visited 10/30/2025.
