Brand new Hardee’s at the gas station/ truck stop. This is the second time I’ve visited location and the third time I’ve been to Hardee’s in general. The very first time I’ve ever went was years ago and I can’t remember if it was good or bad but I can at least say it did not leave a lasting impression on me.

Food was abysmal… The only good thing I had was the fries and the soda. Both burgers I ordered were so saturated with oil that the buns were soggy and inedible. The bun itself had the appearance of being dipped in a dirty bucket of water prior to being applied to my burger.. makes me sad I ordered two of these. Granted it was almost 2am but jeeze.. I was on the road for 7 hours at the time and only wanted something decent to eat.. not something I took a single bite of and threw away. I didn’t even eat the 2nd one as it was exactly the same. What a waste of time and cash. The kid at the register was great but the lady in the back making food probably needs more training. I should’ve gone to McDonald’s but it had been so long since I had Hardee’s. I think I understand now why they’re non-existent in my area if this is how far they’ve declined. Sad really, I miss the burgers. The smells were just as I remembered them. I’d like to feel like I could go back but I won’t waste another 30 bucks on food like that again.

Bad service, I’m not sure if the color of my skin this is the second time i visited this place, first time i came here they ignored me for a few minutes and then the two younger guys looked at one another then finally one of decided to take my order. The chicken sandwich that i order was cold, and test less. The secon time i visited 6/5/23 one younger women took my order a bit faster then my first visit.But Again the Super Star Burger Sandwich that i had order was also cold and not very tasty. Not stopping here to get some food here anymore. Unless i needed some Diesel for my Truck.

They have completely messed up my order so many times, and obviously it just depends on who is making your food that will be whether or not it will be made properly one time you could get food food that is really good and then next time you could go and get the same thing and it’s dry and not at all like it was the last time. I don’t want to have to hope the right person is working so that I can get a properly made order or even get the right sandwich that I ordered. It’s just ridiculous if the employees are not going to even try to do their job right then let them go and try to find someone that will at least try to do the job they are there to do and do it every time they are at work!

Roast beef sandwiches really cold and buns mostly soggy, leaked thru wrapper and out of the bag. At least the flavor was OK and the staff and service were great. If you can’t do roast beef better, take it off of the menu. The lemonade was good abd the premises were clean.

So it’s a Hardee’s attached to a truck stop. Don’t look for an enthusiastic team waiting to please you, or even a hot meal. Oh, by the way, this place has mastered shrinkflation. Prices are up and drink/sides are small. Move on down the road a block and try the McDonald’s.
