Jewel of India started with the simple idea of bringing the best from us to you. In 1992, Balbir & Surjit started this business to fulfill the cravings of Upper Valley. Our dedicated team of seven works hard to transport the dynamic cuisine of Indian subcontinent-whole palette of flavors- to ensure a titillating food experience. We put lots of love and careful thought into all we do. We hope you enjoy all we have to offer, and share the experience with others.

We had to take out. It was great as usual. The roti was crisp. The garlic naan was well seasoned. Rice was well seasoned as usual. Fried vegetable appetizers were all great as were the sauces. We particularly like the tamarin sauce. The curries are also good.

I had the chicken tikka masala at Jewel of India and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced without being overwhelming. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. Service was very quick, and they even offered us extra rice at the end of our meal to take home, which was such a thoughtful touch. Great food and great service. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Jewel of India has been our favorite restaurant in Hanover for a few years. Finally we’ve decided to write a review since they added mini samosas with our regular samosas. Perfect snack on the car ride.
The aloo and chana vegetarian dishes are always fantastic. My favorite is the rogan josh lamb and garlic naan.
Jewel of India is better the next day, so we often order extra, and they give a ton of rice. Staff is always nice.

We had dinner during our travel to New Hampshire. The vegetarian options are horrible. Curries tasted sour and felt like we are having leftover food. We never be back again. Burned naan was something special.

The food is DEELICIOUS healthy! and comforting. Easy online ordering means you don’t have to wait your turn for waitstaff, and the food comes quickly! The staff are super friendly and elegant. This place is addictive!!!
Prices are more reasonable than what you would expect for the quality! That means it’s a reliable quick lunch stop when you’re in town, as well as impressive dinner venue!

Absolutely delicious food! If you love Indian food, then you’ll love this place. The only reason I am rating it lower is because it took about 1.5 hours to get our food. This wasn’t a huge problem, but be aware if time is an issue for you. Their chicken tikka massala is really delicious. I also ate their mango ice cream e which was really tasty.

This is amazing place! We just had samosas and paneer pakoda for quick bite but I can tell how all the food must be. Chutney with samosas were amazing and very fresh. Will try more things next time but must visit restaurant for authentic Indian food.

We always have an amazing time here and seek it out each time we’re in the area, yesterday was no exception. Delicious food, friendly owners, clean bright building, immaculate restrooms. The chai tea was the best I’ve ever had. House special bread was also incredible.
