Incredible experience at the Black Bear Diner St. George. Our server Keylee was kind, make amazing recommendations and was extremely attentive. One of the best servers we have had on our three months of travel.

The meal portions are very large, a very wonderful bang for your buck and SUPER tasty. We enjoyed this restaurant so much we spoke to the manager Damian about how we deeply appreciated our experience and how he is hiring wonderful staff and they make delicious food. If you are ever in the St. George area I highly recommend you go check out Black Bear Diner. It is incredibly worth it, and if you don’t leave with leftovers I would be VERY impressed lol.

Thank you for making our Valentine’s Day dinner on our honeymoon so memorable Black Bear Diner St. George.

Had a great dinner experience! We ordered the New York steak and Santa Maria tri-tip. Everything was very tasty, with a great variety of side choices, from mashed potatoes and cornbread to seasonal veggies and salad. The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend.

Also, Dorothy, our server, was friendly, kind, helpful, and fast! She gave us excellent recommendations and made the experience even better

It was a really fun atmosphere. We loved the vibe and all the wooden bears and decor.

The waitresses were the absolute sweetest.

We ordered a variety of things. I got a birthday breakfast. I had the pancakes with chocolate chips, ham, and scrambled eggs. The eggs were great. The pancakes were ok. They were overly sweet for me. The ham was overcooked and really hard to chew.

We got a taco salad. It was amazing. The tortilla shell was yummy. It was a fun combo of lettuce, olives, refried beans, ground beef and the ranch was amazing.

Someone got a pancake with an egg it was good.

My favorite was the bread pudding French toast. Amazing. It had great texture. Yummy cinnamon and it was just incredible.

Absolutely loved every bit of our meal. The biscuits are ginormous! Gravy is like grandma’s home cooking. Great price for what you get. We will be back!

Some of our food came out ok some not cooked correctly. Asked for specific meal which said to add a slice of cinnamon roll French toast would be add on of 2.99 instead when the bill came we were charged for 2 full meals for just one person to total over 40 for breakfast for 1 of us . we were on vacation and don’t waste our time complaining but not impressed with the servers lack of listening skills. Overall just ok for us.

They were welcoming and the food is some good homestyle cooking! I am from Hawaii and this was my first time eating there. It was “ono” (delicious) This specific restaurant in Utah was awesome and cozy! Will return if I ever come back to St. George, Utah! Mahalo!

The food was hearty and hit the spot, but what really made the night stand out was the service.
The Food: We ordered the Tri-Tip and the Prime Rib. Both were cooked perfectly and served in those generous portions Black Bear is famous for. If you’re looking for a solid comfort meal to kick off the weekend, you can’t go wrong here.
The Service: A huge thank you to Angell, our waitress. She was truly exceptional! Despite it being a busy Friday night, she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and genuinely warm.
Overall: Great food, cozy atmosphere, and top-tier service from Angell. We’ll definitely be back!

I ordered over medium eggs and instead I got barely cooked outside and completely uncooked runny egg whites. The bacon that came with it was undercooked as well as the sausage and the fruit tasted like it had been washed with soap. I used to like this place a lot but the last three times I’ve ordered from here I’ve been severely disappointed with the low quality food that’s arrived. Maybe they just don’t want people ordering their food and would rather them come sit down. I know I won’t be making an attempt to order from here again.
