My sons and I went here for date night and we loved it! Spicy and flavorful with a good amount of serving for every dish we ordered. For my boys to enjoy and finish their plates clean, speaks volumes! Service can be a bit slow but that gives you time to enjoy the company that you’re with.

This place deserves to be known, food is so delicious! Portion size is big and price is very reasonable. Great for eating out as family style. The sesame noodle and dan dan noodle is insanely good, must try! But so was everything else we ordered. Will be back again. Highly recommend this place.

I had a hearty dinner with a few friends in this restaurant last night. I have to say that this restaurant is running well and there are a lot of people in the restaurant. I thought there would be at least three waiters, but there was only one little boy. He has taken care of so many people. Although he was alone, the service was not neglected. He is very careful and knows what we need (his name is Eric). I like his personality very much. The food is delicious and the service is warm and thoughtful. This is really a great Chinese restaurant!

I was missing my dumpling spot in queens so I decided to give this spot a try. Safe to say I am in no rush to drive to queens for comfort food. I got the Dan Dan Noodles, soup dumplings, crab Rangoon, and the clear soup. Everything was amazing❤️ the menu is big so I’ll be making frequent trips to try more dishes. I didn’t eat at the restaurant but when I went to pick up my order I was so happy to see how nice the restaurant is! I’ll be bringing my family next time to sit down and enjoy a good meal.

A total of nine of us came here for dinner, and a young man received us. The service is first-class and enthusiastic. He likes to joke with us, and we are very happy. When we paid, he gave us a $20 discount, which was very friendly! The food is great, great. I recommend pork stewed with wheat, pork soup and crab soup! In a word, this restaurant is worth seeing. I’ll be back!

This review is mainly focused on the food since we only ordered take out so far, and I always went to pick it up.

The food is fantastic, it’s hard to find authentic Szechuan food and locally this is the best option thus far.  The food is not overly greasy as it usually can be with this theme of food, we ordered a few times and usually choose different things off the menu and it’s always been a great experience.

The staff is friendly, the location is clean and large.  There are two entrances in the back and front, with plenty of parking in the back.

I’m looking forward to dining in and will update my review after doing so.  The decor is beautiful and I expect their friendliness and professionalism to extend when my whole family visits next time.

Every time we go here we always say why do we drive so far. But then Every time we eat there it’s absolutely amazing. The food speaks for itself. It should be on one of those best of lists. The soup dumplings and egg rolls are fantastic. The chow fun is the best chow fun. Even most of China town aint that good.

On the hunt for a good Sichuan/Szechuan place I decided to drive out of my comfort zone and try a new spot where I normally would not go. I have to say it was worth it. When we first arrived it was earlier than my preferred dinner time and the place had only 2 tables with customers. That concerned me but that concern was quickly dispelled. The waitress/hostess greeted us and we were promptly seated. Large fried egg noodles and duck sauce were immediately brought to the table and our chosen drinks quickly followed. The menu has a broad range of choices so you can satisfy multiple cravings easily. The egg roll was nicely prepared and moderately above average. The crab dumplings were good but fishy on purpose I guess to reassure customers that the crab is real and not imitation. The wontons in spicy chili oil were delicious and reminiscent of one of my go to spots in Flushing. The house special fried rice was well prepared, delicious and plentiful. The garlic chicken was abundant for two and delicious. Altogether this place is worth checking out and I will return.

Visited ChengDu recently for dinner and had a pleasant evening. Ordered a variety of Dim Sum to start and various dishes to share. All the dishes were nicely made, and the Dim Sum tasted fresh. The Peking Duck was pretty good and even had some to take home.

Our waitress was very nice and friendly and came to the table often to check on us. They also have a lot of space and can accommodate large groups.

If it’s a concern, there’s plenty of parking in the rear of the establishment. For me, that’s a big plus. The restaurant is comparable to other authentic Chinese, I think. You wouldn’t need to travel to Queens or China Town?

All in all, we had a great experience, and we enjoyed our meal here at ChengDu at Franklin Square, NY.

I have to say one thing, though: maybe settle down on the upselling. This can change the whole dining experience and can become one that is negative.

I would come back and try the other dishes.

This place took over the old Jani’s and has a spectacular menu. They have a lot of vegan options, too! The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food reasonably priced. The scallion pancakes are fabulous and fresh. Very flaky! Definitely coming back again!
