If I could give this negative 5 stars I would. The first time I ever ate at this establishment will most likely be the last. Waited 2 hours for 2 pizzas, they forgot my mother in law’s sandwich, and my sister in laws wings (even though they didn’t forget mine which is weird? Everythingwas ordered at the same time) It was overall an underwhelming and weird experience. Found out after this experience, that night the cook and the only waitress on duty quit. Overall, pizza wasn’t anything special and the boneless wings were eh. Owner was rude when we explained politely that they charged us for food we never received
Waited over a year, came back to this establishment and the same EXACT thing happened. We thought it was under new management. Waited an hour and a half AGAIN. The table that was there before us ended up leaving before they even got their food. We heard the manager even arguing with that customer too about how he can’t keep people hired and how it’s ” not his fault”. Our orders came out one at a time. My family member didn’t get her food by the time we were all ready to leave. She asked the manager to just put it in a to go box for her. He came back out and said he wouldn’t even make her food. The manager got VERY confrontational and aggressive with a family member after she asked to simply see the check so she could pay. He refused to show her the check, kept on saying ” I wouldn’t overcharge you, do you think I’m going to rip you off”. Don’t waste your time at this mediocre establishment unless you want to be hungry, angry and verbally abused.

I moved away in 2013 and have just come back to the area. The Anchor’s Admiral Deluxe pizza was on my list! I called in my order, went to pick it up (a 25 minute drive btw) and found the building has gone through a transformation. The new owner is a great guy, very personable. The staff was very polite and obliging. I was told of the previous owners passing, I’m so sorry for the loss. When I got home and tried a piece of pizza, it was SO good! It’s the taste of Charleston that I was missing. If you were a fan of the old place, give the new place a try. Same great food, I promise 🙂

This place is a dump, it should be zero stars for its trashy place and ridiculously clueless workers. My son and I went to pick up a pizza from this place and they forgot to make it, so we waited an additional 35 minutes for them to make what we originally ordered. After getting tired of waiting the 2 men working there couldn’t explain why they hadn’t even started our pizza order. Only 2 customers were seated as guests during this time. The 2 men working were absolutely clueless.

While they were still curbside only, my husband and I placed an order and the order we received was not correct. Food was still great but we did make them aware of the incorrect pizza. We were just able to comeback and order again and they went above and beyond to make things right. Food was still great regardless. It’s looking good inside and cant wait to come back and bring the family.

Under new ownership and they’ve done a great job cleaning up the restaurant. Still working on getting everything situated, but it will get there. Really looking forward to the outdoor seating with their river view.

Slow service and rude owner. I understand people have bad days but both visits here have been the same. My family and 1 other table were the only ones there. We waited over 2 hours just to get only half our order. The other people were there before us and still didn’t get any of their food. I heard them say they didn’t want to wait any longer and we’re leaving. I don’t blame them. They were kind about it but the owner flipped his switch and went off on them and cussed them out. When it was time for our check we asked for it and the owner refused to show us our check. He also flipped out and went off on us. He was very aggressive and scary. When we were just asking for our check to make sure the food we didn’t receive wasn’t on it. The poor waitress and cook were agreeing with us and begging him to stop. Please beware eating in here. Plan to be here for over 2 hours, getting half your order, and getting aggressively yelled at.

Awful. Not prepared for business. Waited 90 minutes, still didn’t get all our food. What we did get was bad. Had to ask for utensils. Had to ask for refills. Staff said the owner was at a meeting for their liquor license. Overcharged. The owner or manager came in at the end and said he couldn’t get anyone to work, wanted to know of we knew anyone looking for a job. Just save your time and go somewhere else.
