The pizza was hot fresh and delivered on time by slice. We ordered a small meat lovers and two XL cheese pizzas and added extra cheese to both and pepperoni to one. They were very good. Thin crust, large pieces. Very filling. Would definitely recommend. We also got the chicken cheese steak and Philly cheese steak, but those were gone before I got pictures. The chicken had fried onions and provolone on it, while the Philly had fried onions and whiz on it. Both were good.

Originally wanted to go to The Angelo’s Pizza but they closed at 8pm which doesn’t make sense But walked nearby to City Pizza and it was sooooo good! Nice sized slices and so many options, service was swift and efficient with a homey welcoming feel definitely coming back for a nice late slice

I routinely place big orders for pizza here. Always a pleasure dealing with staff and good communication. The pizza is good and the price is decent. Whenever I want some slices in Old City, this is where I go. If you are a tourist to Philadelphia, I highly recommend.

We just wanted to get a slice and we were right by there. Wasn’t thrilled that there were 2 levels of pizza slice varieties out, but the heat lamps only hit some of the pies at the top level. So we got the 4 cheese that was directly hit by the lamp. The server, lady behind the register, heated the slices and were served really hot. She was very nice. They do use Cento San Marzano sauce (we use) which is a big plus, but unfortunately we had a sauce less slice. I would say the slice was just ok. Also, it’s really rough to have a hot slice on one paper plate. It wasn’t thick enough, so it was too hot to hold from the bottom. I would suggest a couple of plates to hold so the oil doesn’t sop through the plate. To be fair, I’d like to try a fresh slice since they use Cento San Marzano. That’s premium stuff!

I have had some bad tasting pizzas in my life, but this was absolutely disgusting. I got a small cheese pizza half Italian sausage it taste like dog food my turkey and cheese hoagie. The turkey was so mushy. I could squeeze it together with my 2 fingers I have never been so disappointed in my life

This place used to house the worst pizza by slice I had ever eaten anywhere. Today was the first time I tried this place since it was sold about 2 1/2 years ago. WHAT A DIFFERENCE NEW MANAGEMENT MAKES! Night and day of difference. Pizza per slices were really good and very fairly priced (especially for Old City). My only wish was that they had fountain sodas instead of just refrigerated drinks, but I can live with that. Awesome stuff, City Pizza.

First time. First pizza. Got the white pizza w/ spinach, tomato , ricotta cheese,garlic and it was delicious (I thought) l cannot tell you about their other foods but the pizza I can.. Go visit. Not ALOT of sitting but other than that. Very good pizza decently priced.

Enjoyed the fresh and ready made two dollar cheese slice. Wow, it was love at first bite.The sauce, the crust, the generous amount of cheese, was just perfect. I couldn’t resist getting another slice. City Pizza is fantastic. Nice atmosphere, great pizza, and the $2.00 slices are much appreciated.

Ordered a 10 inch vegan pizza. I’ve had vegan pizza from City Pizza before and it’s always very tasty. The cheese didn’t look vegan so I called to confirm that it was. The person I spoke to on the phone confirmed it was vegan and stated it looks different because they changed the vegan cheese they use. After eating the pizza, I felt sick. I called them again but this time spoke to the chef who confirmed they made a mistake. I haven’t had cheese in years. The best they could do was offer me a free vegan pizza. I am aware that people make mistakes but what happens if my allergy was more severe? Also, are they going to cover my upset stomach medication? My weekend will now be spent in the bathroom. Thanks City Pizza.
