Taste of Reggae 2 is always serving up tasty, authentic Jamaican food all day long. Their curry dishes, especially the curry goat, are super good, and you can tell everything’s made fresh with love. The portions are pretty big, the flavors hit just right, and the prices are fair for what you get. The place is cozy and clean, perfect for small groups or just chilling. The staff are really nice, quick, and attentive, and if something isn’t available, they make sure you leave happy anyway. All in all, the awesome food, chill vibe, and friendly service make Taste of Reggae 2 a spot you’ll definitely want to come back to.

Ordered take out and it was very average for $72 worth of food. Curry goat was nearly no meat and all bones. Jerk chicken legs were good but small for $13 a piece. Mac and cheese was bland. Potatoe salad arrived frozen solid and inedible. The oxtails were nearly all fat. Rasta pasta was fine and so were the rice and peas.

Not worth the money for the amount and quality of food.

I honestly have to question the high ratings. My experience was less than bad. This is by far the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever tasted! We purchased brown stew chicken, jerk chicken, and oxtail. The brown stew chicken looked like left over scraps and was very bland to include the frozen heated up in the microwave mac and cheese and tasteless rice and peas. I have no idea what was on the bottom of the jerk chicken and the plantains were mushy. I paid over $70 for the worst food ever. When I took the food back, we learned no one was in the restaurant preparing the food. The cashier was the only one there and had to call the manager on the phone to inquire about a refund and we were only credited $24 because my Jamaican husband said oxtail was the only thing that was not too bad. Perhaps we caught them at a bad time, but we’ll never return.

The food here is phenomenal I had the pleasure of ordering the mild beef pattie and let me tell you the ratio between bread and meat was perfect it was flavorful and juicy best meat pattie I ever had if your in want of a juiciness you definetly want to come here it’s well worth the trip even If your in the area try them by far the best and I’ve been to a few Jamaican food places and the location is very welcoming located right in the city of martins burg lovely location I felt totally safe

The atmosphere was very plain and boring. No vibe to it. Just a window to order through and a few stools against the wall. The person who served us was very friendly and fun to talk to but the place could have used some music or something. The food was a disappointment. I love Jamaica and Jamaican food. I have traveled to Jamaica a few times and know what Jamaican food should taste like. This food was not made with love.

I am a truck driver and I have had Jamaican food from a lot of places and this has By far been the worst I have ever had. I don’t even know where to start. I honestly had to look at what I ordered because what I was eating was flavorless.

I placed the order through Uber Eats and the food arrived hot. Now I ordered jerk chicken… where was the jerk seasoning I have no idea, but it was not on the chicken. The side was steam cabbage it to was not seasoned, but that wasn’t my problem. My problem was we gave little to no effort. It was a thick slice of cabbage with stem… we didn’t even bother to cut it. The Rasta Pasta was the biggest disappointment. It was dry, sticky and tasteless. The sauce, I feel like it was store bought.

I don’t write many reviews and I have never written a bad one before because normally I just wouldn’t patronage an establishment but this was really bad.

I don’t even think a Jamaican made this or I’d they did they are cooking for the area maybe. I just never had Jamaican food that didn’t have any favor.

Hopefully this was an off day but I will not ever order from here again.

The cashier was really nice.

Restaurant is very dirty. Went to use the bathroom but it was too dirty to use.

Most importantly, we spent $41 on lunch. Two orders of jerk chicken with drinks.

The food was really bad. This is not real Jamaican food. The chicken is very low quality with way too much bone.

They also grilled the meat in what taste like a dirty ash tray. Their grill must be very dirty because the food taste like smoke. After I ate I went to the 7/11 down the road to buy some mouthwash to rinse my mouth. Even as I write this I have the taste or cigarettes in my mouth.

Over priced, dirty, and not very tasty. The other Jamaican places in other towns were so much better.

I try not to leave reviews, but this is probably the worst Jamaican food I’ve had. It lacked flavor and was super bland. I went based on the positive reviews I saw, but those are also old. Thought some improvement would come by now. I will never eat at this spot again. I don’t like wasting money on food, but hey, lesson learned.
