This conveniently located restaurant off of I-5 drew me in because it was a welcome alternative to the fast food drive thru options. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was average, at best. Nothing to complain about but certainly nothing to inspire me to return. Portions and prices were fair.

Went to Guadalajara for a pick up order. I normally don’t like refried beans when I get Mexican food because I find them so tasteless. I got the refried beans with my meal and they were actually flavorful. Will definitely be back as my meal was great

We arrived late Monday night, tired and hungry from traveling all day. The man that greeted us was warm and friendly. We ordered the Dos Compadres to go. He brought it out to our car and we went to the hotel. We noticed he closed the restaurant after we left. When we started eating it, the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you for being open and serving us so close to closing time.

Shout out to M who served me. Nice family style restaurant with neat decor and very clean. M is very pleasant and a wonderful host, customer focused on delivering an experience both positive and hospitable. I dont eat meat but she still got me squared with a beans and rice bowel with mixed veggies totally custom and the coldest mug I ever drank a draft beer from. The flavors on the food I had were on point so I imagine most people enjoy the meals even more then I did. 5 star easy, good food worth the price. Be sure to bring some cash, you’re gonna want to leave a tip.

This family owned business really goes above and beyond! The food and prices are great for lunch and dinner! Highly recommend the Molcajete and the Chile Verde . Lovely staff and plenty of room for the whole fam!

We went to Woodland Guadalajara tonight to try their vegan options. They have quite a few vegetarian options which are easily veganized by asking for no cheese (or sour cream if it’s on there). The server was really educated about what vegan is and was friendly and proud of the food.
We got the taco salad. It comes with grilled mushrooms (so smoky and “meaty”), peppers and onions on top of lettuce, tomatoes and pinto beans. We got the “chunky guacamole” to add on top at the suggestion of the server. We didn’t regret it.
They give you free chips and salsa when you sit down. The chips were thin and delicious and not greasy.
We were super pleased with this meal and like I said, there are quite a few other options too.
Beautiful and bright, comfy booths and clean bathrooms. We’ll be going back again whenever we pass through. Not too far off the I-5.
