We have driven past Loretta & The Butcher in the Grove more times than I care to admit… and let me just say — that was a tragic life decision.
How did we sleep on this place?!
From the moment we walked into Loretta & The Butcher, it was game over. The vibe? Sexy but relaxed. The music? Perfectly curated — not screaming in your ear, just wrapping around the room like a soundtrack to a European summer. The atmosphere feels like you’re somewhere you should have been all along.
And the SERVICE. Impeccable. Attentive without hovering. Warm without being forced. The kind of service that makes you feel like you’re the only table that matters.
Now let’s talk about what really happened here — the food.
• Provota cheese – Pure indulgence. Melty, rich, slightly salty perfection. Every bite was the kind that makes you close your eyes.
• Flatbread caprese – Fresh, vibrant, beautifully balanced. The tomatoes tasted like they had somewhere to be.
• Mushroom risotto – Creamy. Earthy. Decadent. This risotto did not come to play. It came to dominate.

One of the best restaurants we’ve visited in Coconut Groove not only because of the delicious Argentinian food but also because of the top service considering we were with a baby. I’m not one to leave a review but this food is incredible! I frequent coconut grove and will be coming back. The chicken Caesar sandwich was 10/10, truly the perfect lunch spot. Patio area is under the umbrella, was still able to dine outside in the Miami rain showers.

What a great find in the Grove! The food was absolutely delicious—from the refreshing and flavorful sangria to the baked provolone, which was pure cheesy perfection. But the real star of the night was the steak, tender, juicy and cooked just right. A special shoutout to Sofia for her outstanding service and attention to detail; she made our evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

We had an incredible brunch experience at this Argentinian gem! We ordered the steak and eggs and chicken and waffles, and both dishes blew us away. The steak was perfectly tender, bursting with flavor, and paired beautifully with their house-made chimichurri sauce (médium-rare). The sunny-side-up eggs were cooked to perfection and served over a bed of crispy roasted potatoes—absolutely divine.
The chicken and waffles were a standout too—crispy, cheesy, and topped with bits of bacon for that extra indulgence. It even came with a side of fries, which was a fun surprise. While we waited, we were served fresh French bread with a creamy chive and cheese spread—a lovely touch that made us feel welcomed right from the start.

Food was good. Group of 3, we ordered 2 salads and risotto. Risotto was very good, the 2 salads had 2 vastly different portions and moistness of the chicken. One salad was large and moist while the other was dry and very small. Wish I had taken photos.
