I got some calamari and pad Thai. The calamari is pictured and seemed pretty skimpy for 13$. The chicken pad Thai was very generous for the 15 or 16 I paid and about a 7 out of 10 on the deliciousness scale.

What a poor experience we had here. We went to celebrate our friends birthday with hibachi. Everyone arrived at 5 for our reservation and as soon as we were sat down we were asked for drinks and appetizers. My jacket wasn’t even off yet. We ordered 2 apps and they came right back for our food orders, no biggie. Appetizers came out before the adult beverages were even finished. About 5 minutes. Before we knew it the hibachi chef was there and cooking the food at lighting speed. We had 2 servers that kept reaching around us removing dishes as soon as we were done eating. At first I thought “Geeze they are efficient” but it never stopped and seemed off. It’s now 5:30. Drinks, apps, and dinner all done an we could tell we were now being rushed. They tatted setting up the other side of the hibachi table with me sus and waters. Clearly expecting another party after us and rushing us out. The host kept coming up to us asking if everything was ok almost as a distraction as the busboy started cleaning off the table. Our friend was still
Drinking her scorpion bowl and they tried taking it out of her hand as she was drinking it. He kept pushing the dirty dish bucket closer and closer. Spraying the table with the newborns pacifier still on the table. It got very uncomfortable very fast. 50 minute dinner cost us $390. Barely got a chance to enjoy the mediocre hibachi dinner. For people who don’t get out often and right after the holiday, to spend that kind of money and not enjoy it was the worst part. Tip is automatically included too, which only fosters the attitude to just flip tables. Awful experience.

Love the vibe here. Great menu selection, including quite a few items that are either unique here or you don’t see often elsewhere. Definitely recommend the short rib appetizer. It’s rather substantial given it’s spot on the menu and what you pay for it. Fall-off-the-bone delicious. Also liked the forbidden temple from the drink menu. Giant Buddha statue is cool.

We waited 1 1/2 and we had reservations. We were seated inbetween 2 tables. Only one drink refill no water refill. They skipped my son for the water game. They rushed us thru on Christmas Eve because they had a party of 30 before us. Service was awful. Is the habatchi table worth it?

Have been going to Kon for over 10 years, however the quality has declined. In tow separate occasions I had bad experience with the quality of the sushi which they barely put any fish in it!

Unfortunately due to Covid, the Hibachi Grill (Back Rm.) is closed. However, you can still order those dishes just without the chef experience. We went here for my niece’s birthday dinner. Food was very good and we all enjoyed ourselves. Staff was pleasant. Per our request, staff came out with a slice of cake/sang happy bday to her. We will definitely return.

Hibachi really isn’t worth the $$ we paid. When you ask for rare steak. And they give you well done. And throw the food at your plate. Shrimp was like rubber over cooked as well, drinks are good. FoodReally sucked, very disappointed. Covid19 mask required stupidity. Also. If we had known prior I wouldn’t have made reservations for 6.
