We stopped in for an order of cupcakes for a smaller kids party. Staff were courteous and the bakery was super inviting with nice relaxing atmosphere. Everything looked fresh and our wait time was limited. Enjoyed the cupcakes and would recommend again.Cheers!

What a gem. This has to be the most visited food spot in PBO. (Given there’s not may breakfast spots here) As a New Yorker, it’s hard to be impressed by food places but this bakery is beyond my expectations for any bakery. The bread, the pastries, the food items, it is superb. The esthetic of the place is just the cherry on top, it has such a charm to it, it’s cozy and welcoming and super family friendly. We always get the biscuits/scones/English muffins (which are to die for) and today we got the breakfast potatoes and it was all fresh and perfectly made.
The service is also always friendly and they’re always fast! It’s the perfect weekday breakfast or Sunday morning breakfast.
I could go on and on but you get the point.

Pheonix never disappoints. My personal favorite are the scones but my kid loves the donuts. The staff and ownership are friendly and knowledgable and the service is quick. This is a must stop any time we are in the area.

My husband and I were in Pittsboro recently on a mini getaway, and The Phoenix was so great that we went there for brunch both days we were in town! We ordered the breakfast biscuit sandwiches and the lunch menu sandwiches, both of which we enjoyed thoroughly. We also loved the breakfast potatoes, coffee, and each of the bakery case items we tried! Everything was delicious and the staff members were helpful and friendly. The shop was also very fun, with lots of cool art and pantry products for sale. We can’t wait to go back – this will now be a regular stop for us when we come to visit Pittsboro!

I dare you to name a better bakery. I have tried so many of their baked goods. I usually don’t make it out of the parking lot before I have gobbled them down. I also go here for lunch. The sandwiches are good. The sweet tea is always a hit. I wish they would change up their lunch menu, but I remind myself that they are a bakery.

Love this little place! Whenever I drive by, I always try to stop for coffee, breakfast, or a light lunch. Reasonable prices and delicious food. Great gluten-free options, desserts, biscuits, and breads! Oh my, what a cute place!

One of my go-to breakfast and coffee spots in Pittsboro. Excellent prices for exceptional food and service. They fresh-bake everything daily, so make sure to get here early if you’re craving something specific.

Omgoodness!! Happened along this gem!! Am in the area for the week… tried a few different cafes for coffee… and have been disappointed. Came across Phoenix Bakery and have stopped everyday since! No need for extra specialty coffee drinks… their one chocolaty tasting self serve brew is amazing! The breakfast burrito was by far the best and freshest quick cafe burrito I’ve ever had… was on the small side.. but the taste so made up for it. Literally… everything I’ve tried I’ve loved!! So yummy!! Tons of sweet treats, baked goods, breakfast and lunch. Love the vibe, and super clean!! Will definitely be stopping here on my way home to bring the family treats!!

Phoenix Bakery – Pittsboro. I recently had another “first” when I stumbled on this bakery. I don’t live in Pittsboro and wasn’t sure where it was located. Now I do! Right off Business Route 64 West about a mile and a half from the Pittsboro circle (on the righthand side). I liked the outside of their building and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy inside. Very homey feel, clean, friendly, and the fresh baked goods aroma was wonderful! I was on my way out of town and had already eaten breakfast but I couldn’t resist their cheddar dill/herb biscuit- which was delicious! All the baked goods in the cases looked fresh and tempting – a variety of homemade donuts, biscuits, cakes, pastries, breads, etc. They also serve made to order breakfast sandwiches and have a Lunch sandwich menu, too. Side note: they are also an “Elmira” vintage-styled appliance dealer. I will be back!
