Came in at 9:25 ish, ordered ice cream for me and my wife, and was given amazing treatment, friendliness, and hospitality by Erica. We felt right at home and the ice cream was great!!!! Will be returning for sure

Be cautious about going to this Dairy Queen location. If the employees are rude to you, you will be required to deal with it with a smile on your face. If the food is cold and nasty, you will be required to be okay with it with a smile on your face. Management is rude themselves so don’t expect anything less from the staff they employ.
At one time there were signs everywhere telling customers to be courteous to their employees and now the only sign is in the drive through. There should never be a need to address this to customers if the staff is behaving appropriately behind the line.
What happens when a person doesn’t accept what even the Corporate Office deems as unacceptable behavior from the staff at this store? The head guy from Dairy Queen walks into your place of employment which is rude and unprofessional then has you call him so he can tell you since you refused to deal with his rude and ignorant staff, you aren’t welcome there anymore as a customer.
I am absolutely fine with being told I am not welcome at this Dairy Queen anymore. It’s a blessing in disguise. I will no longer be disrespected as a customer or receive mediocre food at best anymore.

I love Dairy Queen but when I get blizzards a lot of times I have to wait on at least 3-5 cars and it takes a long time to get to the window and that’s fine with me but it seems they make my ice cream after I order it cause by the time I get to the window it’s melted quite a bit. It don’t seem much candy pieces r in it either.

Back in the day DQ used to be the SPOT to go! However within the last year or so it’s getting consistently worse. 3x in a row we’ve ordered large cherry dip cones. A large cone of any kind used to be 3 large bumps and the DQ swirl. We are lucky to get 2 mushy lump-ish looking…idk…..it’s just bad. For the price charged we definitly expect better. Please do better DQ…Baskin is right down the road….they’re more expensive but their cones are FULL.

**Update** Went back to DQ tonight for ice cream…and no change. The new pic…one is a medium one is a large. And the difference? The cone. The girl that waited on us was not friendly. Asked if I wanted to talk to the manager. I did. Manager stated it “weighed” what it should. And handed me 2, now melting cones.

Visited this location on 8-29-2025 @ 8:06 pm while passing through Sidney, NE. I used the drive through to order a medium Blizzard. Only 2 cars in front of me car one took about 5 minutes to order and car two 30 seconds. I ordered a medium Blizzard and moved up toward the window. We waited 24 minutes to finally get our simple order!
When I got to the window I noticed there were at least 5-6 employees working and all playing around not very interested in working to complete orders. The male employee told me what my total was and me my receipt and shut the window and never said a word. I noticed a sign that said to the effect we thing ” we think out employees are great and please do not say unkind words to them ” Aparently if you receive sub-standard service you should not let them know. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE stopping in Sidney, NE.
P.S. DO not stop at the bait and switch Gulf gas station.

Blizzard more like an ice milk base rather than true ice cream. Told counter and they said it was because it was melted. When told it was the way we received it and we wondered if it was due to the equipment or product, he said he didn’t know. Had the same order at a DQ a few days before and that one was significantly better–and tasted and looked like the real thing.

Ordered 2 Blizzards and the ice cream was strange. Was more like an ice milk than soft serve ice cream.
At the window I watched him pull the blizzards out of what looked like a small freezer under the counter. Then add small amount of ice cream to the top of one before bringingthrm to me at drive up window.
Very disappointed. Stop cutting corners. You should be making them fresh every time. Corporate needs to be aware if this.

Showed for lunch yesterday and it was located in such a perfect spot and the area outside was nice and clean. The staff was amazing friendly was quick to get our food ordered. When sitting down to eat it was quite and a pleasant atmosphere.
