Nice restaurant! The manager on duty was a super woman – as you could tell she was dealing with staffing issues. Felt super bad for her as she doing so many things at once. She was very nice and accommodating. Went above and beyond to make sure we got out good fast- and that says something when she was running both the front end and the drive thru by herself.

I originally left a factual, fair review about this location being listed as open on Christmas Day when it was not. Everything about the store initially appeared open — lights on, drive-thru accessible, cars actively moving — so there was no immediate indication it was closed. At least 20 cars, including mine, waited in the drive-thru for about 30 minutes before realizing what was actually happening. Because the drive-thru exit is partially obscured, each car slowly pulled forward and left, creating the illusion that the line was simply moving very slowly, which felt reasonable given the holiday. That was just during the time I was there — it’s hard to believe this didn’t happen repeatedly throughout the day. This entire situation could have been avoided by accurately updating the hours.

McDonald’s responded to that review and asked me to email them, which I did under a documented customer care case (reference included in the screenshots). The response I received was a generic, nonsensical deflection about holiday traditions and employee choice — completely missing the point. This was never about whether employees should work holidays. It was about inaccurate public information.

Shortly after that exchange, my original review was removed.

That doesn’t sit right with me. The experience was real. I’m a real customer. The review was factual, measured, and not exaggerated in any way. Removing legitimate feedback instead of addressing a simple, fixable issue says far more than the original review ever did.

Details matter. Transparency matters. And trying to make honest feedback disappear instead of owning it is disappointing.

This McDonald’s has been open for months now. They can’t seem to get anything right. Their ice cream machine is ALWAYS down. It’s never worked, and when it did, it wasn’t the right consistency.
I would think with being a new FRANCHISE, not a small business, but a global franchise, that there would have been training, solid management, experience – but there’s none of that here.

I can understand the first month having some issues – it’s new. But this place has been open for some time now and still can’t get anything right.

Also – I’ve done curbside a few times. So not worth it. You’re better off going through the drive through as they complete the drive through line before they even begin to look at mobile orders.

Just disappointed.

I don’t understand these other reviews at all. This is one of the best McDonald’s around. Clean, modern, fast service and quality staff. I have been here quite a bit. Never disappointed.

I’ve been there a few times in the afternoon. I use the drive thru it’s quick. The employees are kind and my order is accurate. Entering and exiting is also quite easy.

Waited 35 mins for an order placed inside. None of the ording stations were working, food was cold when gotten, and was told they only had 4 people working, then close the inside area. Never again. You can here all the staff bitching about everything. McDonald’s sucks it’s time to end it. Poor quality, poor service, no longer a value, too many excuses. Everyone needs to go somewhere else and send the message.

Terrible experience, rude customer service. No other customers in the store and it took 20 minutes for an employee to come up to the register to cash my order out because I was unable to use card on their individual ordering machine. The only reason this employee came up to me was after I said excuse me at the 15 minute mark and it still took them 5 minutes to get to me and was rude when cashing me out. Then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes for my food (I only got three items and a drink) while others were receiving their orders out of order.

This McDonald’s is awful, they never do what you request. Their oil is always so old that the fries are literally brown. Some lady that is always there on drive thru is so rude and always seems like she wants to pick a fight when you ask for a special request. The food is always always cold and old. I ask for fresh fries and they say okay and then when I go around to pick it up it’s cold and disgusting. We were excited to have a McDonalds in the neighborhood but this is the worst location I have ever been to.

It’s just unbelievable how incredibly slow this McDonalds is. I already thought North Royalton was screwing up our nice little corner of town by building this McDonalds and the misery of ordering here just confirms my opinion. It’s not supposed to take 30 minutes to get fast food.

It was 9pm on a Tuesday, I was the only person in line. I waited 15 minutes at the initial order station to place my order. I ordered one Oreo McFlurry. It took another 25 minutes to receive said Oreo McFlurry. I watched through the drive through window, one person pour the “ice cream” and set it down by the register for several minutes. I watched a different person come by and crush Oreos on top of the of the ice cream and set it back down by the register. A third person finally came by to hand me the McFlurry… I had to ask them for a spoon… This place will single handedly cure the obesity epidemic for the Royalton and Strongsville residents with its incompetent staff.
