My stomach is definitely the way to my heart, and John’s hit the spot. It was my first time there and I had been keen to try it for a while. My family happened to be away, so I figured I would give it a shot.
I entered the store and was immediately greeted by a friendly face. I ordered my meal (fried flounder and steamed broccoli with garlic butter). As I sat there, every customer that came in was greeted by name. I asked the owner if they knew everyone that came in and he said, “No, but we have been here for 30 years and we have a lot of regulars.” I knew right then that this was going to a good spot.
My food came out in about 10 minutes, and let me tell you, it was the best fried flounder and steamed broccoli I’ve ever had in my 45 years.
The whole time I was enjoying my meal, customers were in and out, happily greeted, friendly banter and top notch service.
I’m so glad I made the trip and can’t wait to have that meal again.

We discovered this gem on the way back from DC to North Jersey. We loved the location of the restaurant – away from the hustle and bustle. The sea food was so fresh and delicious that we ordered take away for dinner as well. Their portions are large and very reasonably priced. The place is clean and well staffed. The staff went out of their way to help us with the menu and even made recommendations when we requested. We’re sad that they are not close enough for us for a quick visit but we hope to come back in the future on our drives through South Jersey.

Absolutely delicious!! We ordered a little bit of everything and then some to go. The food is amazing, the staff is really nice. There are only 3-4 tables to sit at, most people order food to go. They stay busy (which is super telling of a business). We found our new favorite seafood place!

I was so disappointed. I ordered two dozed snow crabs with old bay and garlic. They were not fresh and had no taste. I had two legs and threw the rest away. 42.00 in the trash. Not going back.

When I walked in, the 1st thing I noticed were no strong fish or frying smells. The place was very clean & neat. The staff was very nice & the whole atmosphere was pleasant.
They offer a large variety of seafood & sides. As a vegetarian I was pleased to see a good number of sides that I could eat.You can eat in or take out. I didn’t order anything for myself but will next time. My husband ordered the jumbo shrimp with potato wedges to go. Coleslaw was included. The food was cooked to order & the wait was only 10-15 minutes.
He said everything was very fresh & expertly cooked. He’s looking forward to trying more items.

1st time ordering platters and hot food from here, it was absolutely delicious!! I’m a believer in Eat with your eyes 1st and it didn’t disappoint, the golden Fry on the seafood and the homemade Mac and Cheese just Yum!!! Will definitely be ordering again and prices were great too!! I always get fresh seafood there and it’s very family friendly and so clean and welcoming!!
