The bartender was very friendly and as a novice beer drinker was able to point me in the direction of two that I thoroughly enjoyed. The pizza was good but I’d have preferred it to be a little more crispy, which is my suggestion for most pizzas so not necessarily a knock on them.

Bar area downstairs is well-lit & clean while being separated from the dining room.

The Salmon with mashed potatoes and green beans is more than amazing and they have the very best hot wings too!

Local regular here. What makes SPB fantastic is the cool vibe downstairs at the bar..easy lighting, roll up doors in the summer, low key energy, and the fantastic bartenders. The beers and food are great! My gripes? The weekly specials have changed from affordable “specials” to regular-priced “enhanced” items. For example, on Pizza Monday we could get the best pizza ever made, The Pitmaster (iykyk), for a considerable savings. Same with Wing Wednesday..that’s self-explanatory. Now, the specials might look great but they’re full-priced items. How is that a “special”? Now if the prices need to go up to offset expenses, ok. Raise them a couple bucks or something. Also, they are taking one of their best and most popular signature namesake beers, Big Gunz, out of rotation and only going to bring it back once in a while. Bring back the weekly “bar specials” and keep the anchor beers on tap, please. Rotate out seasonal beers if there is need to explore the local beer-drinking palate.
Thank you,

Great vibe, good service, excellent Q with cold beer….not iced cold beers :|. Beans and ribs were legit. Make sure you get the spicy mustard and BBQ sauce—-finger licking good
Weather was a 10 so we ate at a high top indoor/outdoor style. Bigger than I thought. Cool crowd – perfect spot to watch the game and sip and chat at the bar.

Food and staff were fine. Poor atmosphere. Walls are bare cinder block, some places painted white. We sat upstairs. Tables are too close together. Many people were getting bumped to get by them. Arrived on a Saturday at 6:00. Most tables had young children and we sat next to ones who had to jump around most of the time and like I said we were cramped. No decor except kids coloring pages hanging up and paper hearts on the windows. I felt like I was at a daycare.

Atmosphere: Okay. Food: Not Good. BBQ SAUCE: Amazing! Brisket and Pulled Pork has 0 seasoning. No flavor what’s so ever. Drove really far to try this place. Btw LITTLE/NO PARKING. Be prepared to walk

Sandwiches lacked flavor, had to ask for bbq sauce for the seemingly unseasoned bbq meats. Didn’t get silverware with meal, takeout box did not close despite ~5 minutes and two people trying.

Great service, cheap drinks, good atmosphere.

I should say from the beginning that I only had beer so I can’t comment on the food. Stirling Pig is a cool little brewery/restaurant located in Media. The ambience is a lot of gray, black, exposed metal. There is a restaurant area and a bar area. The beer is decent if not exceptional. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. In addition to beer they do have cocktails that sounded good from the descriptions. It was a neat little place. I hope to come back and try the food some time.

Unfortunately every single time that I come here, at least one member, if not more of the staff are complaining about either being too busy, not busy enough, or being very unprofessional and not being attentive to guests.
The food has been going downhill. BBQ used to be good but now every time it is bland, dried out, and therefore completely overpriced. See photos of dessicated pulled pork. It was so dry it stuck in my teeth and overall was so disappointing. Coleslaw was flavorless (heard of salt?). Last time the brisket and ribs were a joke. Jerky practically.
Sad because 2 years ago I loved it here… Going downhill …
