Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere! We sat in the patio area. Very spacious and has a lot of shade. Food was very good and fresh. There are a few options for kids and those picker members of the family! Beer is not listed on the menu, staff will give options. The bathroom was clean too.

This is a quaint and delicious restaurant by Elephant Butte. The drinks are on point and they have a great wine selection. The Rosemary fries pair well with burger. The Fish and Chips were great.
It’s sad that they have to put a sign to warn people that they are not a fast food restaurant. The food here is definitely fresh and cooked to order. Needless to say, we didn’t wait no more than 10 minutes. I’ve waited longer at fast food restaurants.

We arrived in to town late and they closed in 40min. I can admit I was already thinking the food was going to be what was leftover, but that was not the case. The food was delicious I had the Chupacabra burger and the flavors were on point and the fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. The lobster roll was so good as well. We will definitely be returning and would recommend for a great meal and atmosphere.

I absolutely love this place. The vibes are so cozy and unique and sitting on the patio outside, it feels like you are transported to a different world. I had the Bigfoot burger, which was sweet and savory with its dill yogurt sauce and caramelized onions. Just the perfect flavor profile. Great wine list, cocktails, draft beer, mocktails and ambience. Local artists murals. Five star service. Everyone is so helpful and happy to see you. They really make you feel like family.

We’ve been to this restaurant before and have always had a pleasant experience, which is why we decided to come back. Unfortunately, this visit felt very different.
We arrived about 30 minutes before closing without realizing the restaurant was closing soon. Right away we felt rushed. The server asked for our order almost immediately, and when my mom said she needed a little more time to look at the menu, we were told we had “2 minutes.”
Throughout the meal the server kept coming to our table, not to check how the food was or if we needed anything, but it felt more like she was checking to see if we were almost done. We were also never asked if we wanted another drink or anything besides the water we were given.
At one point my mom was still taking her last bite and they were already trying to take her plate away.
When we were ready to leave, staff were standing nearby waiting for us to pay, which made the whole experience feel even more uncomfortable and rushed.
We completely understand that staff want to close on time, but the way this was handled made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We’ve had good experiences here before, so this visit was disappointing.

I used to live in the community. When I did I liked Big Food (BigFoot), but it wasn’t a restaurant too write home about.I was visiting the area recently and revisited this restaurant and was amazed at the transformation. The menu is so incredibly improved! I had a gourmet level meal. Beyond that I couldn’t believe the level of customer service. What a welcoming and joyful crew! I would never have expected this level of service in Sierra County. Great job Steve and staff! Seriously, can your staff come train people in Santa Fe! They could learn volumes…

We had dinner at Bigfoot on a Friday night. When we got there, they had a sign up that said they could only serve those who had reservations. While there WERE empty tables, as other reviews have stated, there was also limited staff and we totally understood the need to limit customers in order to maintain good service. Fortunately for us, the staff was very kind and fit us in even without a reservation. They let us know they no longer have a website, so in the future, if we find ourselves back in T or C, we will be calling to make a reservation!
My friend and I both had the lobster roll. My lobster roll came with the rosemary fries and they were VERY good. We also had the fried pickles and jackalope margarita. We enjoyed everything we ate here. We sat outside and loved all the amazing murals around the patio as well. We would definitely eat here again.

Got there about 40 minutes before closing but they were happy to seat us. Our waitress was very friendly and very attentive throughout our dining experience. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Can’t recommend enough!! The high quality of the food and staff made me feel like I was at a fancy restaurant. Well worth the price.
The food was absolutely delicious. They nailed taste, texture, presentation, and amount of food. We loved the mac & cheese, the fries, the tarragon fried pickles, and the salad. It was exciting to have a house made vegetarian black bean burger as an option too!

Came here last night for the first time and it turns out this little place was near the top of the list of our favorite restaurants visited over the last three years traveling the US. Food, service and atmosphere were all perfect. Liked it so much we drove the 20 miles again today.
