This is a wonderful diner! My wife and I have been several times and have brought the whole family and visiting guests a few times and the food is always very good. The menu has a lot of variety, and the portion sizes have always impressed everyone! I haven’t had a standout dish, but all of them were very good. The service and atmosphere even better. We always end up looking at a mural on the wall which is a depiction of the city across four seasons. There is plenty of room for seating but it doesn’t feel big, either. Definitely check it out!

We love the Pepper Pot. Reasonable prices delicious food. Add to that the friendly staff, quick service and the fact that it’s a really clean place and you’ve got a winner!! Lots of seating too. I also love the mural that goes around the side and back. Fantastic and detailed artwork of old Southington!

Great breakfast actually have onions in the hash browns can’t find that anywhere it seems the bacon wasn’t burnt the pancakes are huge beware lol. Not too pricey either. But the staff should work on being more friendly. Our waitress was plain very to the point didn’t smile much and acted like it was too much of a rush for her to handle. The hash in not good in my opinion and the pancake was a little on the chewy side we did enjoy most though.

Holy heck! Their pancakes are MASSIVE!! I didn’t think they would be huge so I got two, BIG mistake! If you never had their pancakes before I HIGHLY recommend getting one! But they are super good

Hands down a great spot to eat breakfast. We came from Norwalk and were passing through and it was worth the stop. The food was amazing and hit the spot and our server was such a sweet person and took great care of us. We had two kids with us under 5 and they were very nice and gave us crayons. They have an awesome wall while you wait to draw on with chalk. Definitely will be going back.

Good service. Very attentive to their customers. Decent menu with just enough dishes to chose from. My wife felt the coffee was too strong but I thought it was just right. I like the way they have more variety of breads to choose from for the toast. Their own Corn Beef Hash and Home Fries are delicious. Drawbacks is that the pancakes are too large. You are better off ordering the silver dollar pancakes.

Ate breakfast here 3 days in a row it was so good! One day I got just a single pancake, but it was literally the size of the plate and I could only eat half of it! Very friendly and attentive wait staff. My buddy eats here a few times a week and I can see why now!
