Bayou Wine Garden is a little out of my normal field of travel. That said, I am very happy I took the trip. A great little wine bar with a very cool vibe. The service could not be friendlier or better. A great wine selection including many great choices on tap. Prices are very reasonable. I did not eat but the food looks great as well. I will definitely return and refer my friends. If you like wine, good food or just a really cool little spot to enjoy some wine you should really give Bayou Wine Garden a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

LOVED this atmosphere, vibe, food, & experience. Some of my favorite dishes were the smoked salmon croquettes & the pimento cheese with chips. The garlic parmesan fries were just alright- they weren’t as salty as I wanted.

This place is amazing! We came to New Orleans for the Super Bowl and it was recommended to us by a good friend. The vibe, the service, the food were all tier 1. You have to try the crawfish and the burger! On top of that, I was pregnant when I visited and they offered non alcoholic beer!

Great atmosphere. Automated service. Mussels were excellent. Gumbo needed seafood, but it was inexpensive. Fries were great.

My dad and I stopped in during our vacation to New Orleans. We were looking for a fun, but quiet wine bar that would give us a break from the exhilerating chaos of the French Quarter/Bourban Street, and this was just the place! The wine selection was fantastic. The bordeoux I chose was wonderful, and our bartender was fantastic. He was engaging, kind, and knowledgable about the area. My dad and shared a ceaser salad as a little midday snack and it was really good. The croutons were buttery, crunchy and light, and the romaine was very crispy and fresh. We fell in love with the winery’s atmosphere and all the side stuff it has to offer. It is a great gem and totally worth the drive.

We lucked out that our Airbnb was only two blocks from this place! Beautiful outdoor setting, amazing selection of wines on tap, and great menu for drinking outdoors.
Chicken skin crackling was as crispycrunchy as you’d hope. Outdoor bartender gave me a delicious sample of unfiltered Grenache. So yum.
Charcuterie plate came with three types of mustard, generous pickles/pickled veggies.
Perfect experience when the weather cooperates, and a great way to end the night!

Second Job
Just found a jewel near the bayou. Me and relatives wanted a drink after a Friday outing. Some1 searched bars near us, and we headed that direction. After passing the bridge construction and potholes on the nearby street, sat a little unassuming bar with indoor and outdoor accommodations. We stayed inside and viewed the game. I got rum punch another a margarita. Both nice and tasty. Our 3rd person wanted food.
The sharable portions were just what we needed. I ventured out to the Xmas lit – gravel filled courtyard and chilled a bit til my people looked around. It was late nite and chill.
U will love the atmosphere. Bartender Ally catered to us with a few song selections. She made the nite.

Bayou Beer/Wine Garden hosted our event last night and it was so perfect! We had the whole interior wine bar with access to the outside patio. The atmosphere was excellent for a celebration. We ordered catering for the group and the food was excellent (huge menu with a variety of selections and it was all good), as well as the presentation. The owner and event coordinator were great to work with. I would definitely recommend this space as an event venue.

I enjoyed this place. Outdoor seating is comfortable and spacious. I feel they need to add more wine selections -but the ones they do have are good. After the sun goes down, the solar lighting is nice and provides a tad of intimacy for a chilled first date.
