To start off, the service was great. Was seen to straight away and shown to our table. We got here around 5 and wasn’t too busy. Drinks didn’t take long to come and once the food order was taken, that only took around 15 minutes. All arrived nice and hot. Tasted beautiful and all generous portions.

Spacious restaurant. Can be a little cold at times with all the glass. Friendly and attentive service. It would be nice if the waiter poured the initial glass of wine but then again, no biggy. I liked the fact that dishes are marked vegan. The corn cakes (Khao Phod Tod) were delicious, as was my Tom Yum soup. My partner ordered the special mixed starter and beef red curry (Kaeng Phet beef) , equally delicious however both main dishes could have afforded quite a bit more heat as by their very nature they are hot and spicy dishes. A decent experience all round.

We had a meal on a Friday night and were blown away by this place!
The staff were lovely and the mains were 10/10, so flavourful! Our red curry and pad prik were absolutely delicious.
The fried starters were a little greasy but other than that everything was perfect. We look forward to coming back! Prices were very reasonable and lots of great choices for different diets.

I’ve ordered from Rim Nam Thai many times over the years, and visited the restaurant since moving to the area a few years ago, and have always enjoyed the food. But on this occasion I am disappointed and put off takeaways for the foreseeable future. I ordered a meal for myself and my partner on an app. When the food arrived. Quite visible within the clear plastic container with coconut rice was a dead fly!

I wanted to be optimistic that it was a one off. But as I started putting the food into bowls on close inspection what I first thought was seasoning of small blackish dots in our other dishes, turns out had wings, tons of flies found in the food, some I fished out. I threw all the food away, bring immune surpressed I can’t risk eating dodgy food and becoming ill and I felt quite disgusted by the experience. It was money wasted and I was still hungry (I admit I was pretty hangry in this moment ). Right away I contacted the app I ordered on and no help as the operator said I can only have £12 credit for a wasted £37.99 order as it was not within their power to refund or investigate. I called the restaurant (which is outside my introverted comfort zone) to find out what happened / warn them to check the food (in case other people get the same experience) and they haven’t apologised / don’t seem to believe me even though I have no reason to lie. In fact I’m gutted I’ll never be eating here again not just because of the incident but also how they have handled it.

Yes a refund for food that was infested would be nice but I didn’t even get a sorry let alone that. I assume the food was left out and flies got into it before the lids were put on and the dishes delivered. Or worse case they have an infestation on the premise.

Please check your food closely before eating from here!

The BEST Thai food I’ve ever had, wish I’d come here sooner. We ordered 2 vegan green curries, salt and pepper chips, yellow noodles and coconut rice. Everything was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

Outstanding, tasty food, served by very friendly and attentive staff, who were happy to give advice about the dishes on offer. The prices were very reasonable, given the very high quality of the food and the excellent ambience. Will definitely use again on any future visit to the lovely, welcoming town of Hebden Bridge.

Unbelievable, authentic Thai food.

Really enjoyed our meal here today for dinner.
The food was fantastic, really authentic (other than being less spicy than food in Thailand).

We ordered fish cakes and chicken satay which were good. The fish cakes were a clear winner and it was a good serving size.

We thoroughly enjoyed our mains.
The Tom Yum Goong was amazing (hot and sour soup with prawns and a tomato base) and the chicken panang curry so tasty! I couldn’t believe how good the food was here.

The service was good, receiving drinks and food very quickly. We booked for early which was lucky as the restaurant was full by the time we left (Saturday evening around 6:30) so I would highly recommend booking.

If I am ever in the area I will return here. Very impressed.

Disappointing food, the large prawns were bought in frozen, decent size but i could taste the oil more than the seafood. Served with Thai sauce out of a bottle, , sweet chilli, improved by adding lime ǰuce from my G&T The pork ribs were just very ordinary stewed ribs in a brown gravy. Jasmine rice, an added extra was best thing other than the G&T which was perfect. I managed to spill the tea which was very nice, in a Thai style teapot.
