First, let me say that the people are super friendly here and service was good. We also had their Nachos, which I would give a 4 out of 5 stars. For entrees, my wife and I both ordered steaks, I got the 14 ounce ribeye and my wife got the New York. These steaks were the lowest quality cuts of meat that we have ever eaten and we regularly go out to steak houses. As you can see in my photo, the 14 ounce ribeye was about 6 ounces of pure fat and gristle. You can see all of the fat, gristle, and sinew in my photo and this is after I finished eating. It actually had the largest pure chunk of fat with no meat I’ve ever gotten from any steak I’ve ever ordered in my life – It was about the size of my palm, huge. The fat chunk was a small steak itself. What was edible was loaded with completely unchewable pieces of gristle and sinew, which you can see in a pile next to the chunk of fat. It was embarrassing to eat as I was constantly pulling these pieces out of my mouth and of putting them on my plate and other people could see that. The meat that was edible was cooked medium as I requested but somehow still tough. My wife also had a large pile of unchewable gristle from her steak, amounting to about a third of her steak. I asked for their Pittsburgh seasoning and my wife their Cajun seasoning and neither had those flavors, they just tasted like salt. The sides were average and I didn’t eat much of them. We planned to have dessert, but after the entrees, decided to pass on that.
Overall, $150 for two people to have one appetizer and two steaks dinners. No drinks, no dessert, no extras. We were really disappointed in the quality of the meat, and we will not return. Any cheap chain steakhouse has far better quality than this restaurant in meat quality, tenderness and flavor, which is pretty disappointing because the chains aren’t very good.

This place was great! They seated our party of 6 right away, and our server Hayley H was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! Highly recommended the jambalaya. Everything was timed very well, and we never wanted for anything.

This is a painful review to post. From the time we arrived until the very end of the meal every single thing — the food and the service —deserved five stars. Then the trouble began .
We had a large party (11 people) and when I made the reservation I was told they’d need a $150 deposit. No problem. Then I received a notice on my phone that the restaurant charged my card twice ($150 AND $100). The restaurant called and told me that they were having trouble with their card machine but they would fix it. When the bill came I expected to see a $250 credit against the rather substantial balance. There was no credit and the owner refused to make an adjustment even though I pointed out that my card had already been charged for the $250. I was assured that the restaurant would cancel the $250. It is still not cancelled. I’ve had to dispute the charge with MasterCard. Maybe it’ll work out eventually but it’s been almost a month and I’m still out $250. Needless to say this made a very sour end to what was a family Christmas dinner. Extremely disappointed.

We’ve been in the area for a while now and somehow haven’t tried this place yet. Amazing food and wonderful service!! We had the meatloaf, panko chicken, and ribs and all were amazing!

We liked the food. The flavors in my Cajun pasta were great, although not very spicy, and my wife’s salmon over a bed of white beans and onions was fabulous. We sat at the high tops because there weren’t any open tables. The service was good although a little slow. The issue was it was very noisy, especially with the bar tender dropping glass bottles into the trash that contained other bottles. Decor was interesting with placards with cute sayings all over the place. Price was appropriate at about $30 each with a couple of drinks. Overall nice but would hold off for a table or booth.

Upon arrival, the waiter @ the door entrance barely greeted us (black). She seemed to be waiting on an elderly lady (white) who was walking from the rear of the restaurant. We requested a booth near the entrance and were told to wait. The elderly lady finally made her way to the front of the restaurant and sat in a booth near the entrance – no issue. When we asked could we sit in the booth next to hers, the response was “sorry, we have no waiters to service the area.” Bizarre bc who was going to service this woman? We were seated @ the back of the restaurant near the kitchen. The table was very shaky and not sturdy that, so we requested another waiter who was passing by, to move. She moved us – still in the back of the restaurant near the kitchen.
No one really greeted us nor was friendly. No pleasant smiles, barely made eye contact. However, EVERY white customer was waited on attentively. The lady who took our order, was ok – not sure if she cared for black ppl or was just “doing her job.” She brought our food, answered questions, never did really check on us though.
The food was ok – honestly it is “just another pretty steak” bc I’ve had better for the price. The salmon entree was ok as well. Mashed potatoes looked like boxed potatoes.
Overall: racist energy and would not go back again. 10/10, DO NOT RECOMMEND if you aren’t fair skinned.

We had a great meal at Filet! The service was great, and the entire staff was very attentive. The host, manager, owner, and wait staff all checked-in on us multiple times to make sure everything was to our liking.
We started off sharing the seafood bisque and fried cheese. The bisque was creamy and rich, without losing the flavor of the sea. It was a nice balance. The fried cheese came out golden, brown, and delicious.
The chicken panko with gnocchi was wonderful. The chicken had a great crunch and the gnocchi were little, delicate pillow dumplings.
The stuffed filet with mushroom risotto was equally delicious. The steak was expertly prepared to a perfect medium-rare. The boursin stuffing was a rich compliment to the lean cut of meat. The risotto was creamy, and did not lack in earthy mushroom umami.
A great meal all-around!
