I ate here yesterday and everything was perfect! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. The service was so welcoming, and the atmosphere just made the whole experience even better. The music was wonderful too it set the vibe and made the night feel complete. My husband surprised me and our toddler to a dinner at Abe’s place Friday evening.
the location is nice with a pretty view of their fountains out front. We were immediately seated as we were right on time for our reservation.
Ian was our server and he did an AMAZING job.
He had his work cut out for him and he, as well as the kitchen, handled it with such grace.
I have Alpha Gal Syndrome. My husband thought “This is safe, they have fish.”
Unfortunately, one fish was served on a bed of rice and they other had a crawfish cream sauce. I can’t have any of that either. My husband ordered the stuffed chicken as well as the lobster mac n cheese. They were beautifully plated, had a very pleasant aroma, and he said it was very very good. My toddler had the chicken strips and fries. Great quality. Great taste. ❤️
I had grilled chicken plain, with a modified wedge salad with the vinaigrette dressing and it was probably the best salad I’ve ever had at a restaurant. ♀️ Will definitely be back one day.

Excellent first experience here! The venue is small, classy and intimate, classy live jazz music that isn’t so loud you can’t hear your group’s conversation. Food came out rather quickly for how busy they were. Be sure to make a reservation or you probably aren’t getting a table. Cocktails were original and very good, I’m not a bourbon girl but the husband is, and I’ve gotta say try the butter bourbon. Very smooth. Crab cakes were tasty, husband had Cajun pasta and really liked it. I had the snapper, very good. 11/10 would recommend and will go back!

Abe’s Place was a 100 out of 10 experience from top to bottom! We had a party of six and the service, drinks, and food were excellent. We met the owner and loved how present he and his wife were in the restaurant. We saw them greet and chat with other tables as well, and we appreciated the hospitality! Our server was attentive and quick. The appetizers were elite (we can’t wait to go back for the Corn Dip and Crab Cakes!) and our entrees were top notch. My filet was perfectly done and was a “melt in your mouth” cut. To top it off, we finished our night with the fantastic deserts! The chocolate cake was my favorite! But the crème brûlée was a close second! Others at our table had the key like pie and the cheesecake and also raved about how tasty they were! We’re already planning our next trip to Abe’s! Jonesboro is lucky to have them! ✨

Servers need training ! For the cost of upscale dining severs should know how to serve and take proper care of a table. Not reach in front of or across someone’s plate, clear empty plates , take care of crumbs, serve from the left proper wine service. The Service was ok but needs improving.
Signage needs lighting hard to find.

Awesome experience. Food was good. Owners actually came out and went to every table to make sure things were OK. The saxophonist was great. A definite plus for Jonesboro. An upscale experience worth every penny!

I went to Abe’s last night and got the jambalaya and shrimp and grits! The music was great maybe a little too loud… Our waitress was outstanding, however, I was a little caught off guard when we received our food. A blonde lady who was not our waitress caught an attitude with me and aggressively placed my dish onto my silverware when handing us our food then rushed off. Luckily the food is good enough to where I will give them a second chance.
