Super cute place to grab a bite to eat with a friend!!! Decent size sandwiches, crepes and salads with good prices. The mixed berry crepe had cream cheese filling and it was the most delicious. Love the fresh ingredients. They have a huge tea and drink menu too. It’s a good stop for brunch or lunch if not looking for a huge meal. The waiters are also so incredibly nice. Great location too and fun to walk around in town after

Went with a few other co-workers for a lunch meeting today. Excellent service, nice space to meet or relax. They have tables, booths, seating both inside and outside. An easy walk from anywhere is downtown Schenectady. You can get just a tea, a sandwich, or an entire meal. They have fun breakfast and lunch tea as well. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly and she did a great job of reading the room on when to pop in or come back later. Definitely recommend for breakfast, lunch or even an early dinner!

Great place to grab some tea. Only complaint is we wish it was a little quieter, or designed to dampen more noise. But that shouldn’t stop you from going.

I’ve always had otherwise great experiences at Whistling Kettle locations! Decided to come here for our Mother’s Day celebration, myself Hubby and two toddlers. Sat for 40 minutes before going inside to see if someone could take our order. Sat for another hour to wait for food. My drink was served in a dirty glass. Really terrible service for our Mother’s Day. Don’t recommend on holidays. All my other visits on a usual day have been great! I was surprised.

I really enjoyed my banana foster crepe. The vanilla cream tea was so good. Nice vanilla aroma and taste but not overwhelming. My teen also enjoyed their tea and crepe. The service was great. I will definitely be back as we thoroughly enjoyed everything.

I was in town for a few hours on a train layover, and this was a perfect stop on my stroll through downtown! I ordered the “Afternoon Tea” (which is served all day and features dozens of variations), along with a personal pot of rooibos. The red pepper and Gouda soup, and turkey avocado sandwich were incredible, plus of course the scones are great! The world needs more tea rooms like this!

A great find on Jay Street! Looking for something to eat before a recent trip to the theater, my wife and I walked in when we saw the tea kettle out front. With a combo of inside and outdoor seating, we were met promptly and with a smile. Our waitress Cayla took the time to explain the menu as it was our first visit … we took her suggestions and enjoyed a great lunch. Plus, mimosas flight ?!? Delicious, fresh sandwich, the roasted red pepper soup was super, and the lemon drop scone might be the best we have ever had! Stop in, you won’t be disappointed!

Super cute place! Great service, our waitress Cristina was very accommodating and friendly. The food was so delicious and they had many options including gluten free and vegetarian/vegan. They do offer some alcoholic beverages along with many tea options. Their desserts were scrumptious. Definitely recommend for lunch with friends/family. Has both indoor and outdoor seating.

Fantastic food and staff. Great selection with several vegetarian options. Friendly waitstaff and very nice outdoor seating in the sun or in a shaded area. Staff accommodated minor changes to make my sandwich vegan. Will definitely be back soon.

This WK location was amazing. I wanted to celebrate my family member’s’ accomplishments, and although the Troy location was closer, they were unable or unwilling to allow me to bring a cake in to celebrate. I understand that is policy, but it was disappointing as a customer. This location, though was more than willing to not only bring out the cake, but also bring out plates and a cake cutter for us. They were super kind and generous. The wait staff was awesome, and overall I give this place 5 stars! Thank you WK staff!
