Had a wonderful experience at Mercado! The food was really good, and I loved how customizable everything was—definitely a unique menu with plenty of creative options. The drink choices were great too, with something for everyone. The ambience is unique and adds a special touch to the whole dining experience. The waiters were attentive and did a great job throughout our visit. The only minor downside is that finding street parking can be a bit challenging, but it’s absolutely worth it once you’re inside. Highly recommend!

We chose Mercado to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Our service was awesome from start to finish. The staff was excellent and recommended their favorite dishes. We had trouble deciding between the popular tacos and the loaded carne asada fries. Our server recommended doing a half order of the fries with two tacos. If we hadnt already enjoyed sharing two appetizers, this would have been a perfect dinner portion.
The dip trio was fantastic. The salsa was bright and vibrant. The queso was smooth, creamy, and well seasond. The guacamole made for a refreshing bite in between the other two dips. The superior appetizer of the night was the warm side of elotes street corn. Mercado served this dish off the cob and we utilized the chips we had from our dip trio to scoop it all up. The elotes was so good! I could have eaten 3 servings of it without getting tired if it. This is a great snack dish if you find yourself anywhere on the Landing with an appetite.
My tacos were excellent. I had zero complaints. The carne asada fries were even better than the tacos. The burst of umami from the layers of flavor in the fries made for my favorite bite of the night. If you only get one thing when you come to Mercado, it should be the carne asada fries.
For her birthday dessert my wife chose the flourless chocolate torte. She has a gluten sensitivity and this made for a perfect end to the night. The kitchen even served this with a large sparkler that burned bright for the whole restaurant to see. Thanks to all the staff for helping us celebrate my wife and make her feel special. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Wonderful experience! Their chips are perfectly salted and when paired with the guacamole and salsa…chefs kiss! I had the street taco which were flavorful the rest of my group enjoyed their meals and a top hit, and one of their most popular dish’s, was the noodles! Will definitly be back next time I am in town.

Good food, great service OK vibes just a bit pricey. I ordered the three taco combo you can pick and choose from about 8 to 9 different tacos they were all good but for $17 I would expect them to blow me away. The order came with a side of rice or beans I chose the beans and again just OK. My favorite though is the Elote corn they had an Elote mayo mix on top that just blended in perfectly with the corn and was delectable.
Total meal came out to $25, $30 with tip just a bit too expensive for what I got. Staff is amazing though and deserve their 5 stars. My bartender/server Mason was awesome.

Chicken tacos for lunch were delicious, along with choro margarita. Order inside and then sit anywhere for lunch service. Very large outdoor seating that is in the shade at lunchtime (nice for warm days). Inexpensive for the quality of the food. Next time I’m in Fort Wayne I’ll visit again.

Absolutely delicious! Our favorite was the fish taco! Steak taco was a close second! Guacamole is so fresh and queso was great too! Our waitress was wonderful, kind, and helpful.

We visited Mercado on the Landing for our Anniversary this weekend and we were impressed. I got the special, steak skewers, fried rice balls with a honey glaze. Fantastic. I didn’t particularly care for the cocktails but I don’t think that’s a problem as there is a lot to choose from for next time. The brussel sprouts are Amazing. And I highly recommend the Espresso ice cream dessert. You don’t even have to save room! It is just that good.
