I visited The Ends with a friend for a dinner night and I honestly cannot stop thinking about how amazing the pasta was. We tried the mushroom pasta and the bolognese, and both were outstanding. Some of the best pasta I’ve had in my life has been in Italy, and I can confidently say these homemade pastas at The Ends rival some authentic Italian dishes. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts salad, which was very good and a great starter. Our waitress was extremely kind, helpful, and outgoing, and she checked on us frequently from the moment we sat down until we left, which really elevated the experience.

There was a small mix-up with the wine at first (we were brought the wrong one), but it was quickly corrected and I was able to get the original wine I ordered, so it didn’t take away from the evening.

For dessert, we shared the homemade banana bread split. My friend loved it, though it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Next time, I’d love to try their tiramisu.

Parking was a bit difficult since the restaurant is located in the middle of Old Town Scottsdale, so plan accordingly. The ambience was overall okay. It did get a bit loud, but for a table of two we could still comfortably have a conversation on a weekend night. I could see it feeling louder with a larger group on a busy weekend night. Overall, a good experience and I will return!

Our waitress Chris made our experience incredible. She was so bubbly and kind, not to mention impeccable service. We felt cared for and then some. The food was delicious:
Pistachio cherry negroni
Mushroom Pasta
Cacio e pepe
Hamachi Crudo
Tiramisu
Salted pistachio Gelato
All were delicious. The crudo was delicious but very small portion. Happy hour was the perfect time to come. Reservations encouraged.

The crispy egg yolk nigiri was the highlight of dinner for us. Also loved Tommy’s biscuits and the cacio pepe. The carpaccio presentation was beautiful, but the flavor wasn’t that memorable. We went for happy hour – highly recommend! The cocktails were amazing. I loved the impeccable arm candy (would definitely go back for that!) and my partner loved his cherry pistachio negroni as well.

Overall the space was beautiful and we’re glad we went. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu!

Best Anniversary Dinner in years! It started with the host and being prepared, wishing us a happy anniversary to impeccable service throughout the evening from our waitress who made amazing recommendations. We loved everything we ordered. The crudo biscuits and carpaccio were divine! Our cocktails were spot on as well and we are both very picky with drinks. The champagne toast was a nice touch and delicious with the fries. Ended with the butternut squash raviolis and the fillet and there wasn’t a single thing we would change that we tried. I’ve not had an experience like this since long before Covid. Thank you so much for a great evening. We will definitely be back!

We went for our 13th wedding anniversary! Everything we ate was delicious! The steak was melt in your mouth! Usually when you go to a restaurant you walk away feeling instant inflammation. However you can tell the quality of the food is exceptional! We will be going back!

We had a family dinner here during Christmas week and we loved it! The vibe is great, our server Charese was amazing and attentive. She gave us great recommendations and we had a great time. The food was delicious! We had 3 orders of the Hamachi crudo! Everyone loved their food and we will definitely be back soon.

We held a large team dinner (approximately 20 guests) here, and the experience had clear highs and lows. On the positive side, the service was truly exceptional. Victoria and Abby handled our group’s many requests with such warmth and professionalism—they are the definition of five-star service. The space itself is also a winner, featuring a lovely atmosphere and interesting design. However, the value proposition was mixed. The cocktails were refreshing and well-made, but their price point felt excessive. Similarly, the food was acceptable but not memorable. While some dishes were good, the overall quality didn’t justify the cost, making the menu feel overpriced for what was delivered. The great service and ambiance make it a nice spot, but the pricing on both food and drinks needs to be considered.

The staff in atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. We started our evening with cocktails at the bar. For dinner, we had the steak tartare, carpaccio, and burrata cheese as an appetizer. For main courses, we had the New York strip Wagyu, roasted chicken, and the replace the halibut with red snapper, and the asparagus. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu.

Top notch — go!

The Ends wasn’t on my radar for a recent trip to AZ, but I’m so glad a local friend pointed me there. They’re one of the few restaurants truly committed to clean ingredients and cooking with tallow instead of seed oils, which I really appreciate.

Reservations: It books up quickly, so plan ahead.

Service: Fantastic across the board.

Food Highlights:
• Hamachi crudo + crispy egg yolk nigiri: Excellent on their own, but unbelievably good layered together.
• Bovine tartare: Top-tier flavor and texture; the pickled blueberries are such a smart pairing. Bone marrow on the side was great.
• Roasted half chicken: Cooked perfectly.
• Wagyu & bison Bolognese: Rich, hearty, and delicious.
• Stir-fry snap peas: Bright and fresh.
• Charred broccoli: Didn’t realize it was fried and wouldn’t have ordered it otherwise — but wow. The beef broth it’s served in makes it next-level.
• Special veal sliders: Excellent.

Dessert: Went with the Croissant Bread & Butter Pudding instead of the split — zero regrets. Perfectly rich with a brown sugar glaze and a big portion. Wanted vanilla ice cream instead of salted caramel, but they were out.

Drinks: Stuck to mezcal cocktails, an espresso martini, and an old fashioned — all well done.

Overall, incredible meal. Would absolutely return.

First time dining at The Ends in Scottsdale and WOW — this is hands down the best restaurant we’ve been to since moving to Arizona. As true foodies, we’re always searching for standout spots, and this one absolutely delivered.

We started with the burnt ends and biscuits — perfection. Tender, flavorful, and unforgettable. At the recommendation of our wonderful server, we shared the mushroom pasta and… WOW. Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor — a must-order dish.

And dessert? We split the banana bread split and it was the perfect sweet ending — decadent, comforting, and absolutely delicious.

From the service to every bite, everything was exceptional. This place is now officially at the top of our list. Can’t wait to come back! ✨
