The lunch buffet had a lot of variety for a lower price than most of the entrees. We got there when they opened so the buffet was fresh, don’t know how often things are refreshed but there were enough people eating lunch on a Saturday that it didn’t seem to be an issue.

We’ve been huge fans of El Jaripeo since Oscar and Antonio had the one by the Pig in Little Chute. It was great visiting this location since we moved away in 2012. The food and margaritas were still top notch and the staff was excellent. Our visit was exactly what we hoped for. Thank you!

I miss Jaripeos on evergreen. Ordered food to go from here. The portions are terrible. Literally 3 fork fulls of rice. Ordered burrito Mexicano, got chicken not pork and barley any meat. Plus you pay now extra just for using a card. Should be illegal as they don’t have to pay credit card fees for using a debit card. And even if they did, those fees have been there for decades.

El Jatipro did not disappoint. As a white guy ordering à la carte tacos and enchiladas, I knew exactly who I was and stayed in my lane…
And yes it paid off. The tacos were solid, the enchiladas were comforting, and everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and confidently seasoned without trying to prove a point. The salsa had personality but wasn’t aggressive, the cheese showed up strong, and the whole meal felt like it wanted me to enjoy myself, not test my limits. Great food, great vibe, and zero regrets. I will absolutely be back, possibly with the same order because why mess with success.

The worst Mexican food I’ve had. We ordered Queso dip and it was very thin and runny like it had been watered down. Ordered bean dip and it came with more of the runny Queso dip on top of the bean dip…weird, never had it served that way. Ordered the shrimp chimichanga and there were only 3 or 4 shrimp in it and the tortilla was greasy and undercooked, not crisp. Very disappointed.
