beautiful restaurant!! i cant say enough great things about this tepache. definitely my favorite place for mexican food! service from the workers is incredible, the manager is always above and beyond when we come. my favorite is the birria tacos, they have great drinks, great dessert, and amazing food. Tres leches is phenomenal. Fried ice cream is delicious!! i love coming here

The staff was welcoming and very friendly. We were helped by our waitress as well as the manager. The food was delicious and so many options for vegans or vegetarians. Between 3 of us we split a jackfruit taco meal and two appetizers and it was enough to have leftovers. The peach and blackberry mimosas were yummy as well as the pomegranate margarita. Highly recommend and we will be back!

My sister took ms here during my visit from Montana and her promo had me really excited. The atmosphere/ambiance/and service was great! Prompt and friendly service with quick refills and and check-ins from multiple staff. The food portions were great and served piping hot with good timing. The flavor for my palate was a little bland. We loved the presentation with the guacamole but I’m used to more lime, salt and jalapeño. I got the combo meal and just in general it lacked flavor. BUT my sister and Mom seemed happy with their dishes (which I did not try).

Tepache is hands-down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to! The staff — Maria, David, Javier, Gris, and the rest of the team — were super friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. They made the whole dining experience feel warm and welcoming.
The food was amazing — every bite was full of flavor! The dessert platter was the perfect ending, giving us a taste of everything sweet on the menu. And the mojitos… wow! They instantly took me back to my vacation in México — perfectly balanced and refreshing.

The first time I ate at Tepache was at their Cranberry location a few years ago. It was delicious and I always wished there was one closer to home for me, so I was SO happy when they opened this one in Fox Chapel! Amazing food and the kindest service. I took my parents for the first time tonight and our server Maria was wonderful. I have a soy allergy and my mom has celiac, and both Maria and Tepache’s manager went above and beyond to make sure everything we ordered was safe for us! Maria was truly the kindest server I may have ever had at any restaurant!
The Burrito Ahogado never disappoints, and the guacamole made right in front of you is so neat and delicious! Can’t wait to go back again!

Hands down one of the best restaurants around Pittsburgh! All the food was amazing and staff was so kind and quick to get anything we needed! Our bartender/server (Evelyn) was so awesome! Such great charisma and great personality, got our food and drinks fast! Even gave us some free alcohol! Lol 5 stars recommend! ✌

Atmosphere is nice and clean. Drinks and menu are creative. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I hope to comeback and visit soon. Pittsburgh has always been in need of a good mexican Restaurant like Tapcahe.

Tepache Mexican Kitchen is a treasure in Pittsburgh! I have been to the one in Fox Chapel three times now, and each visit has been a delight.
The food is absolutely delicious! I am a nanny, and I brought my two nanny kids there one evening when I was working late. They loved the tacos so much that I had to order a second batch! These kids are 7 and 5 years old, and very picky eaters, so you know those were some exceptionally good tacos!
My favorite dish (from my three visits—so far) is the Mole Negro Enchiladas: chicken and potato enchiladas in Mole sauce. It’s incredible! So delicious. I can’t wait to go back and order it again.
*I couldn’t choose between the chicken and the potato enchiladas, so I asked my waiter if I could have two of each. He said yes, but he’d have to charge me the price for the chicken. Dije que no había problema porque realmente quería probar ambos. I told him no problem because I really wanted to try them both.
And it was totally worth it because it was truly ONE OF THE BEST MEALS of my life!!!
On my next visit, I plan on asking if they will sell me a container of their Mole sauce to take home—because it’s that good!
The staff is wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The waiters/waitresses are happy to answer any questions you may have about the menu.
I had a fundraiser there on June 19, 2025, and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.
They also have very talented bartenders, who make a variety of delicious specialty drinks.
The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with Mexican art on the walls, dried flowers hanging from the ceiling, and some gorgeous murals on the walls. The art and decor are fabulous and create a warm and welcoming environment.
If you love Mexican food as much as I do, then you will definitely want to visit Tepache Mexican Kitchen. You will be rewarded with delicious food and drinks, excellent customer service, beautiful ambiance, and free parking.
I highly recommend Tepache Mexican Kitchen. Your stomach will thank you for the delicious food. Your eyes will thank you for the gorgeous art. And your heart will thank you for the warm and welcoming service. ❤️❤️❤️
